[00:00:05] You're listening to PBN. You're path back to stability here.
[00:00:15] Good evening, PBN family. Welcome into this.
[00:00:39] We haven't had one in a while, a PBN State of the Union.
[00:00:44] We will be discussing a number of things tonight.
[00:00:47] First, what we need to talk about is our man from Mission Darkness.
[00:00:51] He was overcome by the hacking and the pink eye, I think, same exact sort of situation that I had a couple weeks ago, funny enough.
[00:01:03] He will be back. He will likely be back for I Am Liberty.
[00:01:08] If not, we'll have him back on next Monday.
[00:01:11] So this is just a postpone under the weather.
[00:01:15] Get him back on, talk EMP, talk EMP protection.
[00:01:19] All those kinds of things.
[00:01:22] But I want to open up the show with something profound.
[00:01:30] I'll tell you where it's from, I'll tell you where I heard it.
[00:01:34] And you won't believe it.
[00:01:38] I mean, in all honesty, you won't believe it.
[00:01:42] It was one of those passages that I heard a single line from, and the single line got me so excited that I sought out the passage itself.
[00:01:54] And in seeking, boy did I find.
[00:02:00] Let's get to it.
[00:02:03] I'm just going to do it ad hoc.
[00:02:05] Okay. I don't want to read you the title because it's the reason I'm here.
[00:02:11] So we'll start with the first line.
[00:02:13] Bear with me.
[00:02:15] It's a little long.
[00:02:17] It's pretty long, but I'm going to read it all anyway.
[00:02:21] It's incredibly powerful.
[00:02:25] You have been telling people that this is the 11th hour.
[00:02:32] Now you must go back and tell the people that this is the hour.
[00:02:37] And there are things to be considered.
[00:02:40] Where are you living?
[00:02:43] What are you doing?
[00:02:45] What are your relationships?
[00:02:48] Are you in right relation?
[00:02:52] Where is your water?
[00:02:54] Know your garden.
[00:02:59] It is time to speak your truth, create your community, be good to each other, and do not look outside yourself for your leader.
[00:03:09] This could be a good time.
[00:03:13] There's a river flowing now very fast.
[00:03:15] It is so great and swift that there are those who will be afraid.
[00:03:21] They will try to hold on to the shore.
[00:03:24] They will feel they're being torn apart and will suffer greatly.
[00:03:28] Know the river has its destination.
[00:03:32] The elders say we must let go of the shore, push off into the middle of the river, keep our eyes open and our heads above water.
[00:03:42] And I say, see who is in there with you and celebrate.
[00:03:51] At this time in history we are to take nothing personally, least of all ourselves.
[00:03:57] For the moment what we do, our spiritual growth and journey come to a halt.
[00:04:02] The time of the lone wolf is over.
[00:04:10] Gather yourselves.
[00:04:12] Banish the word struggle from your attitude and your vocabulary.
[00:04:20] All that we do now must be done in a sacred manner and in celebration.
[00:04:28] We are the ones we've been waiting for.
[00:04:36] We are the ones we've been waiting for, PBN family.
[00:04:43] Is there a more profound line for the self-reliant crowd than we are the ones we've been waiting for?
[00:04:58] In a moment like this, that's a powerful line.
[00:05:04] What I just read for you was a prophecy made by the Hopi elders.
[00:05:09] The Hopi Indian elders wrote this entire prophecy and titled it, We Are the Ones We've Been Waiting For.
[00:05:21] And you listen to that section of questions.
[00:05:25] This could literally be a prepper consultation.
[00:05:30] You could do a prepper consultation off of these questions right here.
[00:05:34] Where are you living? What are you doing? What are your relationships?
[00:05:37] Are you in right relation? Where is your water?
[00:05:43] When I started reading that, I couldn't believe it.
[00:05:46] Know your garden, speak your truth, create your community, be good to each other, and do not look outside yourself or your leader.
[00:05:54] Wowee. That's wild, man. That's wild.
[00:06:01] Based on, so I heard this, We Are the Ones We've Been Waiting For.
[00:06:07] Not Brett Weinstein, but Weinstein, who's the other one? Eric.
[00:06:13] Eric Weinstein was interviewing Russell Brand.
[00:06:17] And Russell Brand mentioned this quote. He said, We are the ones we've been waiting for.
[00:06:22] And I looked it up and it was just like, whoa, that's powerful.
[00:06:28] That's us. There's something very us in that, right?
[00:06:35] The time of the lone wolf is over.
[00:06:38] Gather yourselves. You really need to wrap your head around that, PBN family.
[00:06:47] Because there's deep truth in it. We are the ones we've been waiting for.
[00:06:52] So I thought I'd kick the show off with that because that's a powerful one.
[00:07:00] Now to do a PBN State of the Union, we have to talk about the things that are both affecting us here in the Prepper Broadcasting Network and the new things that are coming, the things that are here.
[00:07:13] And also sort of world events, right?
[00:07:19] What's happening out there in the world that requires our attention as preppers, like the latest Trump rape scene sparks Kane controversy?
[00:07:35] Just kidding. This is what they want to worry about. They put this on the top of the Drudge Report.
[00:07:41] Oh, wow, look at that. The Donald Trump movie, The Apprentice, ignites controversy.
[00:07:48] Imagine that. A movie about Donald Trump igniting controversy.
[00:07:55] Who wrote this thing anyway? Ali Abbasi.
[00:07:58] It's got to be absolutely hilarious to watch. I don't know.
[00:08:04] Not necessarily important. What is important is our new Tuesday show, Through the Veil.
[00:08:12] We have two episodes from Through the Veil to check out if you haven't heard it yet.
[00:08:15] It's a good time. I think it's going to get even better with H.
[00:08:21] You know what I mean? It's one of those things that you got to get in the groove doing a show like that.
[00:08:29] It's sort of a little paranormal, sort of a little second sight, sort of a little, you know, that kind of vein.
[00:08:36] It's a good time.
[00:08:37] I've got a ton of things on the back burner in terms of, you know, what's coming down the pike this summer, fall, whole nine yards.
[00:08:51] I don't really want to go into a tirade on our wonderful sponsors. At least I don't want to do it just yet.
[00:08:59] How are we looking over here? I've got a little mouse in the kitchen right now that's distracting me big time.
[00:09:12] I'm not sure what they're doing in there.
[00:09:17] Alright, folks. Let's have a look here.
[00:09:31] So what's going to become of Iran? What's going to happen with the president out dead?
[00:09:38] Tehran blames U.S. sanctions for the death of their president. Good to know.
[00:09:44] A lot of fun that's going to be. That'll be a fun conversation.
[00:09:47] There's a new man in power. Remember, I this morning if you didn't hear my show this morning, the question is, you know, is it a devil you know situation?
[00:09:58] Are we going to wind up with somebody worse and we just won't know. You know what I mean? Time will tell.
[00:10:09] The matter of fact, boys are headed off to their camping trip. This is an annual, an annual camping trip.
[00:10:18] An annual camping trip. So I'm sure there'll be tons of conversation and we saw a little we got a little peek into the rabble a radio ruckus.
[00:10:30] The rabble a radio rock actually would fit perfect. Pretty cool. Pretty cool design.
[00:10:39] I'll get you some pictures, maybe some video explanation come prepper camp for you members.
[00:10:44] Here's an update right before the show started. I posted a podcast I did today for the members only.
[00:10:54] And it was about October 7th and it was titled Can October 7th happen here? Eight months later, because I did a podcast.
[00:11:05] I did a podcast. I wrote an article about it and I did a podcast about it.
[00:11:12] When it happened, right? Because there were a lot of serious lessons to be taken away from that brutal attack.
[00:11:20] And this podcast that I published for you members is about how much has changed in my thinking from eight months ago.
[00:11:31] And it is it's chock full of goodies. So make sure you check that one out.
[00:11:37] It's a big one, man. You know, we live in a time, guys, where things are changing so fast.
[00:11:47] That you have got to check in with yourself. You've got to check in with your own thinking.
[00:11:52] You've got to check in and say to yourself, what's really going on here? What is really happening here?
[00:12:02] Because it's wild. You know what I mean? The amount of things that happen in a day's time, the amount of content produced.
[00:12:10] You know, let's talk about a couple freebies. Want to talk some free stuff?
[00:12:19] Today's PBN Daily News was titled Free Stuff and opened up with two great opportunities for you.
[00:12:26] Probably one of the biggest things that I could talk about in the PBN State of the Union would have to be the giveaway.
[00:12:38] The Kindle giveaway of the World of Ready, which starts Friday.
[00:12:42] All Memorial Day weekend we're giving away the World of Ready Kindle format on Amazon.
[00:12:53] Go get the book on Kindle. Check it out if you love it.
[00:12:58] Then you can buy the hard copy if you don't have it already.
[00:13:01] Even if you have the hard copy, man, throw that thing on the Kindle because you never know.
[00:13:08] You never know when you could need it. You could want it or your child could want to say, let me read the World of Ready.
[00:13:14] My neighbor drove by the other day and thanked me.
[00:13:20] I left a copy on her doorstep and her son said he was very excited to make a go bag.
[00:13:29] Mission accomplished. Okay, that's it.
[00:13:34] So Friday through Monday, the World of Ready is free at Amazon in Kindle format.
[00:13:39] The ebook version is free. We're running a special promotion Friday through Monday.
[00:13:44] Anybody who wants it gets it digitally.
[00:13:49] Happy Memorial Day.
[00:13:51] For those of you who are more inclined to fitness, we will have a tremendous fitness challenge for you.
[00:14:01] Let's run a couple ads and we'll come back and we'll talk about that fitness challenge.
[00:14:06] Let's do that.
[00:14:08] PB and family come in.
[00:14:11] I need your help.
[00:14:12] I need backup.
[00:14:14] The Collapse Survivor app has killed me off two times now.
[00:14:18] The current simulation I'm trapped in is almost too believable.
[00:14:23] You will also get real life threat alerts from Fortitude Ranch and have the option to manage your entire prepper inventory.
[00:14:32] Go to the App Store, download the Collapse Survivor app and be prepared to test your might.
[00:14:38] Who wants free ammo?

[00:15:40] And look, just telling you, if you're not into this like the walking and the seeking and the searching and the going to the store every week or month to buy ammunition.
[00:15:52] I wasn't either.
[00:15:55] You know, I was not a go and buy it every month type of guy.
[00:15:59] Going buy it every six months type of guy. You know what I mean?
[00:16:03] Wasn't like that, it wasn't on a schedule.
[00:16:06] Wasn't written into the magic book of mine.
[00:16:10] Ammo Squared, let me tell the future bit.
[00:16:16] Ammo Squared is going to significantly increase my preparedness in a year.
[00:16:21] In a year, in a year with the little amount of investment that I have put into this monthly stockpile of ammo.

[00:16:35] Would you like to radically change your level of preparedness?

[00:16:45] So go to Ammo Squared dot com slash PBN guys.
[00:16:48] Telling you right now.
[00:16:49] I tell you right now.
[00:16:52] So, who knows what the Murph is?
[00:16:57] Raise your hand if you know what the Murph is.
[00:17:02] Have you ever heard of it? The Murph Challenge?
[00:17:05] It's no easy feat. I did it last year.
[00:17:07] Took me a long time.
[00:17:09] It took me, I think a couple hours in total without the running portion.
[00:17:15] I think.
[00:17:16] Let's talk about what it is.
[00:17:22] I don't know exactly the story behind it.
[00:17:27] Like, I don't know.
[00:17:29] Probably the most important part.
[00:17:32] Let's see the workout.
[00:17:36] So here's the Murph in totality.
[00:17:39] And you're supposed to train for this thing like you're supposed to train the lead up to this for weeks because it ain't easy.
[00:17:46] Actually, you know what? I didn't do the Murph with a 20 pound vest.
[00:17:52] So you can count me out on that one.
[00:17:55] In that thing I fail.
[00:17:58] You start with a 1 mile run.
[00:18:01] You do 100 pull ups.
[00:18:04] You do 200 push ups.
[00:18:07] You do 300 squats.
[00:18:09] And you finish with a 1 mile run.
[00:18:10] And all of this is done with a 20 pound vest or body armor on.
[00:18:17] So that's it.
[00:18:20] That's the Murph.
[00:18:22] And it's a Memorial Day special.
[00:18:25] It's one of those things that you do in honor of the great men who have kept us free.
[00:18:32] But there is a story about it, I thought.
[00:18:37] Lieutenant Michael P. Murphy.
[00:18:40] Oh yeah, I know that face.
[00:18:43] Lieutenant Michael P. Murphy died in 2005.
[00:18:47] He was the officer in charge of a 4 man seal element in support of Operation Red Wings.
[00:18:53] Tasked with finding a key anti-coalition militia commander near Asbdabad, Afghanistan.
[00:19:01] Shortly after inserting into the objective area, the seals were spotted by three goat herders.
[00:19:05] Who were initially detained and then released.
[00:19:08] It's believed the goat herders immediately reported the seals presence to the Taliban fighters.
[00:19:14] A fierce gun battle ensued on the steep face of the mountain between the seals and a much larger enemy force.
[00:19:21] Despite the intensity of the firefight and the suffering grave gunshot wounds himself.
[00:19:26] Murphy is credited with risking his own life to save the lives of his teammates.
[00:19:31] Murphy intent on making contact with headquarters, but realizing this would be impossible in the extreme terrain they were fighting.
[00:19:38] Unhesitatingly and with complete disregard for his own life moved into the open.
[00:19:43] Where he could gain a better position to transmit the call to get help for his men.
[00:19:48] Moving away from the protective mountain rocks he knowingly exposed himself to increased enemy gunfire.
[00:19:54] This deliberate and heroic act deprived him of cover and made him a target for the enemy.
[00:20:01] While continuing to be fired upon Murphy made contact with the soft quick reaction force at Bagram Air Base and requested assistance.
[00:20:11] He calmly provided his units location and size of the enemy force while requesting immediate support for his team.
[00:20:18] At one point he was shot in the back causing him to drop the transmitter.
[00:20:22] Murphy picked it back up, completed the call and continued firing at the enemy who was closing in.
[00:20:29] Severely wounded Lieutenant Murphy returned to his cover position with his men and continued to battle.
[00:20:36] Murphy fought on allowing one member of his team Marcus Luttrell to escape before he was killed.
[00:20:44] For his selfless actions Lieutenant Michael Murphy was posthumously awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor.
[00:20:51] October 27, 2007. We honor his sacrifice and memory through the Murph Challenge.
[00:20:59] So he was part of the team with Marcus Luttrell. Okay I should know these things.
[00:21:04] So in honor of Michael P. Murphy you can take this thing on if you want.
[00:21:12] They even have like certain gyms might be around you that host the Murph.
[00:21:20] You can get a t-shirt if you do it. You know you buy the t-shirt I think some along those lines.
[00:21:28] It's hard. I didn't do it with 20 pound vest but it's hard. It's not an easy thing to pull off.
[00:21:36] One mile run, 100 pull ups, 200 push ups, 300 squats, one mile run.
[00:21:42] I think the way that I did it if I remember correctly, I think I did like a 5, 10, 20 set.
[00:21:51] So I ran my first mile came home and then I did sets of 5, 10, 20.
[00:21:57] 5 pull ups, 10 push ups, 20 squats. And then I just did that until I was done.
[00:22:05] I just did that until I was done. I wrote them on a piece of paper.
[00:22:11] So at you know tallied, every tally for pull ups was 5, every tally for push ups was 10, every tally for squats was 20.
[00:22:19] The squats part is easy. 300 squats is easy. 200 push ups not too bad.
[00:22:27] 100 pull ups is pretty tough. Push ups and pull ups together are really tough.
[00:22:34] So you could do it. You could do it wearing a 20 pound vest or your body armor. It's your call.
[00:22:41] Or you can say screw that I'll never make it, I'll never live.
[00:22:46] At which case I would say do a one mile walk around your neighborhood.
[00:22:53] Do as many pull ups as you can, as many push ups as you can.
[00:22:57] And do 300 squats because anybody can do 300 squats. I don't care.
[00:23:00] It'll take some time but you can do 300 squats. And then finish out with a one mile walk.
[00:23:08] And that will be your Murph. You know, that will be your Murph.
[00:23:12] Make it count. I mean imagine. Imagine what these guys go through.
[00:23:18] There are levels to being a human.
[00:23:23] And the things that you have to come to terms with.
[00:23:29] The decisions that you have to make and the suffering that you have to be able to endure to do something like what Lieutenant Murphy did is...
[00:23:38] It's absolutely insane. It's absolutely incredible.
[00:23:47] So the Murph is another thing on the PBN horizon. Memorial Day.
[00:23:52] You get a free book which you gotta do 100 pull ups to get it. Just kidding.
[00:23:57] We should talk about the next free book. You wanna talk about it?
[00:24:04] Let me bring her up. I have the whole collection.
[00:24:10] What's up, Garden Girl? Thanks for joining me tonight. It's just me tonight.
[00:24:14] I'm on a lonely soul here on a Monday night.
[00:24:18] Let's bring up the new book.
[00:24:22] There's a book coming for everyone. It's gonna be free.
[00:24:26] And in all honesty, it hasn't taken the strength of my literary acumen to pull it off.
[00:24:34] But it is a very cool book and a very cool concept and one that I'm happy to share with everyone.
[00:24:43] I'm getting real close to being finished.
[00:24:48] And it will also be free. Funny enough.
[00:24:51] And for many of you out there listening, you'll have to do almost nothing but wait for an email.
[00:24:55] You know that? I'm feeling very charitable lately. What's going on?
[00:25:01] What's with all the charity? Why?
[00:25:04] Well, out to be honest with you guys, maybe we'll talk about this after.
[00:25:10] We'll talk about why I feel so charitable lately.
[00:25:15] Or why I should at the very least be charitable.
[00:25:18] I mean, if anybody.
[00:25:23] The book is titled 50 Must Read Books To Survive Doomsday.
[00:25:27] And it has a very cute little cover.
[00:25:28] Did I say cute? I mean it's kind of a cute little cover.
[00:25:32] That doesn't sound very survivalist prep or does it?
[00:25:36] But whatever. It's cool. I like it.
[00:25:39] I do a good job on book covers.
[00:25:41] This ebook is exactly what it is. It's exactly what it says.
[00:25:50] 50 Must Read Books To Survive Doomsday.
[00:25:53] Okay? These books were all picked by me and some of the hosts.
[00:25:58] And even a few of them are recommendations of Rick Austin,
[00:26:03] the godfather of prepping the man behind Prepper Camp himself.
[00:26:06] Okay? A conversation I had with him.
[00:26:08] The book itself is broken up into a variety of sections.
[00:26:15] Survival manuals and how-to's.
[00:26:18] Security. Outdoors. First aid.
[00:26:26] One of my favorite sections. Small section.
[00:26:29] Of course there's an S.H.T.F. Chef section.
[00:26:32] One of my favorite sections though is the family essentials.
[00:26:35] There's some books out there man that are quite literally family essentials.
[00:26:43] Essential fiction. That's going to get me in a world of trouble.
[00:26:50] I haven't put a single book in essential fiction yet.
[00:26:53] I don't know if I'm going to put essential fiction up.
[00:26:55] I don't know if I am...I don't know if I'm built for it.
[00:27:00] What do I mean by that?
[00:27:01] What do I mean by that?
[00:27:03] I've read a lot of fiction. I do enjoy it.
[00:27:07] But I enjoy what I enjoy.
[00:27:09] I am the least prepared prepper fiction consumer.
[00:27:19] Okay? The amount of prepper fiction books I've read cover to cover is deplorable.
[00:27:26] I've written more prepper books cover to cover than I've read.
[00:27:32] Probably. Maybe not. But it's damn close.
[00:27:36] It's just not my genre. I don't know why.
[00:27:39] I know that sounds counterintuitive. It sounds crazy.
[00:27:42] But it is.
[00:27:44] We're going to have another section called A Break From the Doom.
[00:27:47] And that's going to be my recommendations for books to have on hand.
[00:27:51] That have nothing at all to do with the end of the world.
[00:27:54] You know what I mean?
[00:27:58] Hey what's up Volkana? How you doing?
[00:28:02] Again, this is going to be free.
[00:28:05] Completely free. World of Ready. Free.
[00:28:08] Ammunition. Free.
[00:28:10] Go to Ammosquared.com slash PBN.
[00:28:12] I mean, you know, you've got to sign up.
[00:28:14] So it's not...in all transparency it's not completely free.
[00:28:17] But you're going to get 75 rounds for, you know, more than...for...
[00:28:22] You won't have to pay with. Pay for. Let's go with that.
[00:28:25] Great option.
[00:28:26] I really thank Dan from Ammosquared for setting that up.
[00:28:29] And then of course this new 50 must read books to survive.
[00:28:34] There's some great ones on. We can talk about a couple of them.
[00:28:37] I'll talk about some obscure ones on there.
[00:28:40] Because there are some really...I don't want to read them all out loud because then what's the point of getting the document?
[00:28:45] Let's go. Let's scroll through it.
[00:28:48] Let's give our man...actually...
[00:28:53] Actually, let's give...I was going to give a host some love, but let's give another host some love.
[00:29:00] Because this is a book that some of you probably have already.
[00:29:07] And it's called Pint-Sized Prepper Projects.
[00:29:10] And this is from the family section.
[00:29:12] Pint-Sized Prepper Projects. Okay?
[00:29:18] Now, this book was written by Ryan Buford and Colin Buford from The Next Generation.
[00:29:23] Years ago. I mean years ago.
[00:29:28] I don't even know when this book came out.
[00:29:30] Let's click the link and find out, shall we?
[00:29:34] Published...where does it say?
[00:29:39] Paperback 1999, Kindle 499.
[00:29:43] This book was published four years ago, January 17th, 2020. Wow!
[00:29:48] So this book was published right before it all went down.
[00:29:51] So this book was published...
[00:29:54] January 20th was the Second Amendment rally here in Richmond.
[00:29:58] And then...BOOM!
[00:30:01] The whole world snapped.
[00:30:04] Pint-Sized Prepper Projects is an amazing book, man.
[00:30:08] It is exactly what it sounds like. If you never listen to The Next Generation,
[00:30:13] then you're missing out. You can go listen to it in the archives.
[00:30:17] Rumor has it though...
[00:30:18] Rumor has it that The Next Generation is going to make a comeback here on the Prepper Broadcasting Network.
[00:30:25] But it might be with some new hosts.
[00:30:28] Just pay attention and see what comes up. It could be in the future.
[00:30:33] We have a great section in here.
[00:30:38] And it is one of the largest sections, as it should be.
[00:30:42] And it's called Homesteading and Off-Grid.
[00:30:45] And there's a book recommendation in here by Rick Austin.
[00:30:50] It's called Lights On, by Jeffrey Yago.
[00:30:53] Some of you will know it. Lights On by Jeffrey Yago.
[00:30:57] Or Yago...I don't know how to do it right.
[00:31:03] Wow! That was a massive yawn. I am sorry.
[00:31:06] The night just caught up with me. The whole day just caught up with me, to be honest.
[00:31:10] Lights On by Yago. Check it out. It's all about off-grid power.
[00:31:14] Volcano says, tomatoes and our plant are recovering from getting rid of mice.
[00:31:20] Looking forward to reassembling the food storage room.
[00:31:23] I have been lucky enough to get a peek of the Volcano storage room.
[00:31:27] It is a food storage room. It is very impressive.
[00:31:31] Volcano. It is very impressive.
[00:31:34] What else do we got?
[00:31:39] Let's see...
[00:31:41] Oh, here's one you don't hear about a lot.
[00:31:42] Now, in our first aid section, of course, recommendation number one.
[00:31:47] The Prepper's Medical Handbook by William Forge.
[00:31:51] Impossible to do prepping without.
[00:31:55] I do have...oh, we also have Judson Carroll's great book,
[00:32:00] Herbal Medicine for Preppers, Homesteaders and Permaculture People.
[00:32:04] Must have.
[00:32:06] And if you're into big volumes, like massive volumes,
[00:32:10] the Doomsday Book of Medicine, great.
[00:32:13] There are several others in that section also that are worth checking out.
[00:32:18] A book that's often forgot about in our tactics and security section.
[00:32:23] Often forgot about not mentioned hardly enough even by the author, quite frankly.
[00:32:29] It's not a dig on you man, but you did a good thing here.
[00:32:32] The AK-47 Survival Rifle Builder's Guide by Dane Dee.
[00:32:39] Dane Dee from the Gunmetal Armory.
[00:32:42] Most of you probably don't even know he wrote a book.
[00:32:45] But he wrote a book called the AK-47 Builder's Guide,
[00:32:49] and it's a volume one in Building the Prepper Armory Collection of Books,
[00:32:54] which I thought was such a great idea.
[00:32:57] Details on how to build a popular AK-47 into a high end survival rifle.
[00:33:03] It shows the reader step by step what parts need to be changed,
[00:33:06] which ones to purchase, where to get them, disassembly and reassembly to install the parts, and more.
[00:33:12] This is Dane man. I mean, you know, if you're gonna learn stuff like this,
[00:33:18] I don't know of a better guy.
[00:33:21] I mean, this is a trained gunsmith. You know what I mean?
[00:33:24] So 50 must read books for survival.
[00:33:28] I think I'm up to like 45 or something like that.
[00:33:31] I'm very close. I got a little bit of writing to do in the book.
[00:33:33] And then it's yours. Okay, you'll get it over the summer.
[00:33:36] And if you want to build out your prepper library,
[00:33:39] all you'll need to do is sign up for the newsletter and then you're in.
[00:33:44] Okay. I'm excited about I don't know what took me so long to put something like this together just popped up in my head.
[00:33:51] And I was like, Oh, you know, a lot of people do these like 100 books to read before you die or, you know, books that change, you know,
[00:33:59] 50 books that changed my life. And I said, You know what?
[00:34:03] My library is extensive.
[00:34:06] I mean, for a guy like me.
[00:34:08] So I think we could do 50 must read books to survive Doomsday and have a lot of fun with that.
[00:34:13] So look forward in the future. PBN family, the very near future. Another freebie.
[00:34:17] And why not the freebies?
[00:34:20] I mean, in all honesty, why not?
[00:34:23] Oh, I've got something to read you guys.
[00:34:25] See, all this stuff.
[00:34:27] See, when I do the State of the unions, you have to understand like I reach a sort of critical mass with stuff.
[00:34:35] You know what I mean?
[00:34:37] I reach a sort of critical mass with the amount of stuff that I can contain that just keeps on coming and coming and coming.
[00:34:45] I mean, it's it is what it is.
[00:34:48] You know, it's very true.
[00:34:49] I'm going to read you something, something I was supposed to send the hosts and haven't yet.
[00:34:53] That's my fault.
[00:34:55] It's definitely my fault.
[00:34:58] But, you know, we can we can revisit it here.
[00:35:02] I do need to get it said to the host though.
[00:35:07] Let's see.
[00:35:09] I don't want to divulge who wrote it.
[00:35:11] I listened to the host.
[00:35:13] I don't want to get it said to the host.
[00:35:20] I don't want to get it said to the host.
[00:35:23] I listened to the live podcast this morning.
[00:35:27] This might seem a bit odd, but I consider you and some hosts as friends.
[00:35:35] It's a bit odd because we've never met, but I've been listening for over a decade and I know a lot about you all.
[00:35:41] Someday my wife and I will meet all of you.
[00:35:44] Hopefully at Prepper Camp next year, God willing.
[00:35:47] I'm sure after a while of chatting with you all,
[00:35:51] we'll realize like I do that my wife and I have more in common with you all than you know at the moment.
[00:35:58] I really do appreciate everything you all have done at PBN.
[00:36:02] You all have become a fixture in my household.
[00:36:05] Your voices are being heard daily throughout the house.
[00:36:08] I tell everyone I know about PBN and some other things that are a little more personal.
[00:36:15] Amazing, man.
[00:36:18] You have no idea what that means to us all.
[00:36:25] What that means to us all here at PBN to hear things like that because you know it's different when you do a podcast,
[00:36:36] a smaller podcast like ours.
[00:36:38] I guess ours is considered a smaller podcast.
[00:36:41] I don't really know.
[00:36:42] Actually the way what I know about podcasts is that ours is actually pretty big.
[00:36:48] There are a lot of podcasts out there and there are a lot of podcasts that do next to no downloads.
[00:36:59] You know what I mean?
[00:37:01] And we do a lot of downloads regularly.
[00:37:04] I mean all year, every year consistently.
[00:37:07] So I'd call it a more intimate community or something along those lines.
[00:37:13] When you do podcasting and you do that kind of stuff,
[00:37:19] it's already kind of strange because you know you would look at the stats and all the hosts can see the stats.
[00:37:32] They get access to that kind of stuff and they know how we do.
[00:37:34] But even when you look at the stats and you say really?
[00:37:36] That many people are listening?
[00:37:38] It still feels weird.
[00:37:40] It still always feels like, in my head it doesn't as much,
[00:37:45] but I remember when it used to feel like am I talking into this mic into a void or are there people out there listening?
[00:37:56] You know?
[00:37:58] And now we have incredible people who are here for our live shows and that set that,
[00:38:03] that gives us some validation, right?
[00:38:07] That's like you know you're not just yacking off into the void completely.
[00:38:12] But look it's very easy for you to just have your days where you're talking into the microphone
[00:38:18] and you feel like you know is anybody hearing me?
[00:38:20] Am I doing? What am I doing here?
[00:38:23] And then you know not all the time but relatively often one of you guys reaches out and writes something amazing.
[00:38:33] And it's just like boom, it just hits you.
[00:38:37] You know?
[00:38:39] You get one of those, I've gotten these over time, many, many years in a row.
[00:38:45] I get at least one of these per year.
[00:38:48] And it's from a new listener and they're telling me about how their world has changed.
[00:38:53] How their family has changed.
[00:38:55] How their life has changed.
[00:38:57] And they're doing the things that we talk about on PBN.
[00:38:59] And they're doing the things that we talk about on PBN.
[00:39:03] And they've moved or they've started taking prepping more seriously or whatever the situation is.
[00:39:09] But about once a year I get an email from a new listening, a new listener who says you know thank you.
[00:39:17] This has changed me. It's changed my life. It's changed my family.
[00:39:21] And you know when you have that kind of effect on someone and they're raising children.
[00:39:29] And the children are going to grow up and raise children.
[00:39:32] You have to understand like these are profound effects.
[00:39:36] Profound.
[00:39:39] I often think about the fact that you know I grew up in a rural home in southeast of Philadelphia.
[00:39:46] We had a dog.
[00:39:48] My wife grew up in Richmond, Virginia.
[00:39:50] She had a few dogs.
[00:39:52] You know what I mean?
[00:39:54] Hamsters, that kind of stuff.
[00:39:58] My children will never know a life in their own home.
[00:40:00] This is in their own home.
[00:40:02] They'll never know a life without chickens.
[00:40:08] Don't you understand?
[00:40:10] My childhood is so different than that that I can't even wrap my head around it.
[00:40:16] I can't wrap my head around this idea of growing up with chickens.
[00:40:21] And doing it so young that you just never experienced a life without them.
[00:40:27] You know?
[00:40:29] You know that feeling.
[00:40:30] Not with chickens, but you know that feeling.
[00:40:33] For me it was like fishing.
[00:40:35] I never knew a time when I wasn't fishing on the weekends with Dad.
[00:40:39] I don't remember.
[00:40:41] I can't remember a time before that.
[00:40:43] You know what I mean?
[00:40:45] For them it's always going to be that way.
[00:40:47] It's always going to be we always have eggs.
[00:40:51] We always have these eggs.
[00:40:53] We always have these chickens.
[00:40:55] There's always eggs in chicken coop.
[00:40:57] My dad's always eating eggs.
[00:40:58] You know what I mean?
[00:41:03] And you can impact people like that.
[00:41:05] And you know, I got two boys.
[00:41:07] So the likelihood that one of the two winds up with chickens is, you know, it's bound to happen.
[00:41:12] Probably both of them.
[00:41:14] The state of affairs that we're in right now and the life that they're likely to be involved in.
[00:41:18] It would be silly not to.
[00:41:20] Right?
[00:41:22] And you think to yourself like wow, these are the things that happen.
[00:41:26] This is what it really means.
[00:41:29] This is what really happens.
[00:41:31] You affect people on this kind of a level with your podcasts.
[00:41:35] Don't take it for granted.
[00:41:40] I guess it's probably worth noting on the PBN State of Union tonight that eventually Dave Jones, the NBC guy's schooling is going to come to an end.
[00:41:49] His first year as a teacher is going to come to an end.
[00:41:53] And he will return.
[00:41:56] I have no doubts.
[00:41:57] I have no doubts that once school is out of the system and the summer break is in full swing, that Dave Jones, the NBC guy is liable to be here on a daily basis, if not an every other day basis.
[00:42:10] Especially the closer we get to elections and so on.
[00:42:14] And that's going to be amazing having Dave back all that time.
[00:42:19] We'll have him back on Preppers Live and all that kind of stuff.
[00:42:22] It's going to be unbelievable.
[00:42:27] You know?
[00:42:28] Let's take a look at, before we call it a night.
[00:42:31] I'm not going to ramble on and on.
[00:42:33] I've hit you with the big stuff.
[00:42:35] I've hit you all with the big stuff.
[00:42:38] This was an impromptu show.
[00:42:41] Oh my God.
[00:42:43] I'll never find that article again.
[00:42:48] I'll never find that article again.
[00:42:52] No!
[00:42:54] Five?
[00:42:56] I think it was five.
[00:42:58] I just have to look at it real quick.
[00:43:02] What is wrong with our country?
[00:43:06] This is what, you wonder what's wrong with our country.
[00:43:10] The website is Parenthood Times Magazine.
[00:43:14] Parenthood Times Magazine.
[00:43:17] Okay?
[00:43:19] Parenthood Times Magazine.
[00:43:22] I'm sorry.
[00:43:24] I just have to reiterate that because it's such a heinous.
[00:43:28] The article is titled Five Things White People Never Have To Think About.
[00:43:31] And there's a picture of a young kid wearing a Make America Great Again hat.
[00:43:37] Number one, of course, is enjoying inherent advantages.
[00:43:44] Right?
[00:43:46] Number two, white privilege in everyday situations.
[00:43:52] White comfort in predominantly white spaces.
[00:43:55] White residents and neighborhood dynamics.
[00:43:58] What?
[00:44:00] Look, I mean, I'm well beyond the point.
[00:44:04] This sort of stuff used to enrage me.
[00:44:07] Shopping free from surveillance.
[00:44:10] White representation in media, white voices in racial discussions.
[00:44:15] What blows my mind is people sit down and do this with their life.
[00:44:24] Oh, there's another one.
[00:44:26] There's an even better one by MSN.
[00:44:28] Nine things white people never have to think about.
[00:44:30] Ranked!
[00:44:32] I could do a whole show on this.
[00:44:34] I could do an entire hour on nine things white people never have to think about.
[00:44:37] Ranked!
[00:44:39] Ranked!
[00:44:41] This is getting us nowhere.
[00:44:45] It's getting us nowhere.
[00:44:48] There is no point in writing an article like this to take an entire group of people and...
[00:44:55] You know what I mean?
[00:44:58] I was talking to my wife the other day and I said, you know, if you really want to know, we were talking about voter ID.
[00:45:04] We were talking about our concerns about voter ID and illegal aliens coming to the country because I brought up the concept or the...
[00:45:13] I brought up the fact that I have to get a real ID made.
[00:45:17] Right?
[00:45:19] We have to get a real ID made.
[00:45:21] Like, that's something all Americans are probably going to have to do at some point if they want to travel.
[00:45:25] And my wife said, you think they're going to ask for real IDs only?
[00:45:31] And my wife said, you think they're going to ask for real IDs only at the voting polls?
[00:45:38] And I said, no, no, I don't think that at all.
[00:45:42] And we got into a discussion about that, about the voting ID law and the crazy racist left-wing concept that not everyone is capable of getting an ID.
[00:45:56] You know what I mean?
[00:45:57] You know what I mean?
[00:45:59] I mean, and that's when I told her what I've told you before and what I've mentioned many times lately and I see it more and more is these lunatic people who do these incredibly insane things to minorities that only hinder them are actually the most effective white supremacists of all.
[00:46:27] Right?
[00:46:28] Actually, there's no, there's very few groups in America who display white supremacy better than ultra left-wing lunatics who make excuses for minorities and do not press them to be the best that they can be.
[00:46:47] Because in doing that, in taking a minority and telling them, you know, we'll make an exception for you, you're automatically saying we don't make exceptions for white people because they can figure it out.
[00:46:58] Right?
[00:47:00] And then, you know, they to that they stir into the pot.
[00:47:03] Well, it's, you know, because they got a bunch of privilege and a bunch of advantage and a bunch of all that kind of stuff.
[00:47:09] Right?
[00:47:10] These people are everything they hate.
[00:47:19] These people are the white supremacists.
[00:47:21] It's crazy.
[00:47:22] I mean, it's absolutely when you really if you can wrap your head around what I'm saying and around the concept, you know, like this idea that we got to prop up minorities and make sure that we're not going to be the worst.
[00:47:33] And make sure that they can have businesses and focus on minority businesses and movies and have black stories and, you know, all that kind of stuff built in is so stupid.
[00:47:50] And in fact is just one of the clearest.
[00:47:55] It's a backwards white supremacy is what it is.
[00:47:59] Right?
[00:48:00] And then they do another thing that I love that's incredibly racist, too.
[00:48:04] Is they completely politicize our black Americans in the nation.
[00:48:14] They completely and 100 percent politicize black people in America.
[00:48:19] The Uber left does this is what they do.
[00:48:22] They see a black person and they think, oh, Democrat.
[00:48:26] And if they and if they're not, then they call them all kinds of names.
[00:48:31] Right?
[00:48:32] Like there's a numerous amounts of black people in our country who are conservative and popular.
[00:48:39] And they get totally beaten up.
[00:48:43] Because when a left wing lunatic sees a black person, they think that they're a political entity.
[00:48:50] Right?
[00:48:51] Like your politics are woven into your race.
[00:48:55] And it's so it's just one of the most racist things in our society today.
[00:49:00] And we just are cool with it.
[00:49:01] We're just like, yeah, that's the left wing for you.
[00:49:05] That's what they do.
[00:49:08] Oh, God, I mean, I've never seen like you grow up and you hear songs and you hear lyrics about you become what you despise and you read things, you know.
[00:49:19] And, you know, it's an old adage.
[00:49:22] But I've just you know, I've never seen a more clear moment in history.
[00:49:26] I've never seen more clear details and more more perfect examples of you become what you despise than watching this sort of postmodernist communist movement run through the nation.
[00:49:41] And see the anti fascists become fascists and the anti racists become racist and the anti Nazis become Nazis before my very eyes, like a magic trick.
[00:49:51] You know what I mean?
[00:49:52] It's like the magic trick where they you have the little strip of black plastic that goes inside of a glass.
[00:50:00] And you say, look, here I have a glass of ink.
[00:50:03] And then when you then you use your handkerchief to cover up the glass and you remove the little black plastic and there's water in the cup already.
[00:50:12] And you pull it out and you say, I could turn this glass of ink into a glass of water just with a wave of my magic wand.
[00:50:20] That's what it's like watching somebody wave the magic wand over these left wing lunatics all over the country.
[00:50:26] And they just boom, all of a sudden they turned into the complete opposite of what they said they were.
[00:50:33] How's that for a tangent to end the show?
[00:50:36] Huh? All that because I dared open up a tab in America on Microsoft Start in the year twenty twenty four and expected something other than a good team who had to come up.
[00:50:51] Yes, it is a beautiful time to be alive.
[00:50:55] You be on family.
[00:50:56] Make no mistake about it.
[00:50:57] You have a struggle.
[00:50:58] You have a mission.
[00:50:59] You have a purpose.
[00:51:00] You are here in this time for a reason.
[00:51:04] And I'll leave you with this from the Hopi elders because I know it's easy to look to Trump and I know it's easy to look to Cruz and whoever else.
[00:51:18] Marjorie Taylor Green.
[00:51:20] I don't think anybody looks to Marjorie Taylor Green, but it's easy to look to a bunch of people and say to yourself, you know, this is the one.
[00:51:27] This is the guy.
[00:51:28] Elon Musk is going to lead us out of this nightmare and into the future, man.
[00:51:33] And he's going to help.
[00:51:34] But I leave you with this, PBN family.
[00:51:40] We are the ones we've been waiting for.
[00:51:43] I'll talk to you soon.
[00:51:47] OK, have a good night.
