[00:01:29] Is that I have a guest you know what I mean?
[00:01:32] And I thought to myself, you know what why not combine Instagram with the live podcast and see how it goes
[00:01:40] You know why not? I've tried video before on rumble garden girl, and it doesn't work. It's
[00:01:48] Not anybody's fault, but my own it's just too much for my little laptop and all this connection
[00:01:55] But we have a great audience here at Instagram. We have a great audience here at the prepper broadcasting network and
[00:02:02] Those streams have been crossing more lately right?
[00:02:06] we've got people from Instagram coming over to the prepper broadcasting multiverse over there and

[00:02:42] Cracker Woods 2023 one of our incredible members
[00:02:46] Says I worked in the eye field forever
[00:02:49] Try chamomile tea with a q-tip only on the outer edge or holy basil if you have it
[00:02:56] Use a warm compress and it should drastically get better
[00:02:59] Not to butt in
[00:03:02] Because this morning we posted a video for our members
[00:03:04] I don't know if you guys have seen it yet or not you could kind of you see the difference in my eyes on the video
[00:03:10] I'm blue so it doesn't what's up this disarray it listen Instagram chat room over at PBN
[00:03:17] If you guys have questions comments opinions on whatever is happening in the world today

[00:03:25] I'm wide open tonight. I'm well caffeinated well fed and wide open so we could do whatever
[00:03:31] but anyway, I got some conjunctivitis and I
[00:03:35] made a
[00:03:37] Well a front yard medicine compress so essentially, you know
[00:03:42] Plantain mint things that grow
[00:03:45] In my front yard and
[00:03:49] Looks like we got some
[00:03:51] Some better advice from our member group
[00:03:54] It's just a lot of people we it's we're a deep deep thing. What's up Rodrigo clover?
[00:04:00] How you guys doing you guys are a little quiet here in the evenings. I don't usually do evening
[00:04:05] Videos over at Instagram, but we got some viewers welcome in
[00:04:11] Typically my
[00:04:12] Videos are done outside. It's very rare that I'm inside doing the video
[00:04:17] But you got to have the shore you got to have the setup and so on and so forth so
[00:04:25] Preppers alive. What's up? The IDF is entering Rafa as we speak
[00:04:31] It doesn't really matter to me where you fall on the J. Ferg is with us
[00:04:37] Hey, how do you guys like this Snoopy mug?
[00:04:42] Doesn't matter to me where you fall on the
[00:04:45] Israel Palestine issue
[00:04:47] It's probably a little unnerving that the Israelis are entering Rafa for some people
[00:04:54] In some ways though, this is what will bring this to an end
[00:04:58] You know
[00:04:59] Irish brain stuff. Oh JP in here morning and evening garden girl morning and evening J. Ferg morning and evening you guys
[00:05:08] You guys are the heart and soul of this thing, you know that
[00:05:13] The heart and soul man, I didn't pay very much attention to like
[00:05:19] preparedness
[00:05:20] Related new I didn't pay much attention to news at all today
[00:05:24] outside of just just
[00:05:26] Checking out the news real quick before I hopped on
[00:05:28] So I'm a little bit in the dark about what's going on in the grand scheme. I mean, I could probably piece it together. I
[00:05:36] Could probably say that the United States Congress and leadership have devised some way to limit the Americans ability to
[00:05:44] Be a free people to some degree today
[00:05:47] I could say that you know, well, I don't know. I don't know if I feel like getting into it really
[00:05:54] Irish brain stuff what it's a great name
[00:05:59] Irish brain stuff
[00:06:01] So last night we had an incredible show when we had our bloopers show

[00:07:31] So yeah our friend our friend crayons homestead calm check them guys out
[00:07:35] I guess I'll do my ad reads tonight when we get to him. I'll just do them
[00:07:41] sort of
[00:07:43] acapella
[00:07:44] Without the without the running the actual ads because if I run the ads here you guys won't get to hear them on
[00:07:50] Instagram
[00:07:52] So what's up? What are people doing in the Instagram world to prepare for the world that we live in the greater world that we live in?
[00:08:00] That's kind of what I'm calling on you guys for or do you have questions regarding how to prepare what things to prepare so on and so forth
[00:08:09] because
[00:08:10] This show tonight is largely dependent on you guys stepping it up putting a comment into that Instagram video and
[00:08:18] Asking some questions and then you get questions answered by me on the house
[00:08:22] What's up? Aloe
[00:08:24] Me survivor 2024 how you guys doing promote something talk about
[00:08:31] The things that you do to prepare all that kind of stuff
[00:08:35] We've got a great audience on two platforms
[00:08:38] That are interested in finding that out. We also are running a
[00:08:42] rumble live stream right now
[00:08:45] that is like
[00:08:47] 48 hours in or something I
[00:08:51] Don't know them rumbles they go man. They go go go
[00:08:55] So
[00:08:57] What's happening?
[00:08:59] What is happening out there? I got to get to the pbn side of things. Oh
[00:09:03] So we had the the blooper show last night. It's hilarious a lot of you guys over at Instagram
[00:09:10] You don't know that with
[00:09:12] And maybe some of you listening to PB end don't know either but along with us, you know doing
[00:09:18] Two almost two shows per day now
[00:09:24] We also participate in Sarah Hathaway the author and audio drama producers
[00:09:30] Show the changing earth audio drama
[00:09:32] I'm a character in it most of the hosts are characters in it Jay furg who's in chat is in it and
[00:09:38] last night
[00:09:40] Sarah Hathaway ran a hilarious blooper show man. It was great
[00:09:45] It was absolutely absolutely great
[00:09:53] Garden girl says I've done a bunch
[00:09:55] I've grown a bunch in my garden, but never done pickling. I'm assuming it's pretty straightforward
[00:10:02] Oh, so you're talking pickling in general like an in like a general pickle
[00:10:07] Yeah
[00:10:10] Man oh the things you can pickle if you only try
[00:10:18] Two of my favorites man, you know obviously the classic deal unbelievable
[00:10:25] But another great one is sort of the rice wine vinegar sugar salt
[00:10:31] brine that you can create to pickle like daikon radish and
[00:10:36] and
[00:10:37] carrot
[00:10:38] And you get that like if you go get a broken rice at a good restaurant. Oh
[00:10:43] JP you just you just brought it up. You just brought it up the best pickle of all. Oh my god
[00:10:49] I gotta make some I'm making some this week
[00:10:53] I'm making some this week you just you just brought it up. What's up old Massey? How you doing my man? It's it's
[00:11:00] evening here
[00:11:05] Listen no, it's not raining. I'm just inside doing my podcast. How you doing from Brazil? Alex
[00:11:11] Andro Ababa look out go get a data did I get that right?
[00:11:16] All right, let's talk about the best pickle of all time. Okay
[00:11:20] At least we're gonna Cuban joint
[00:11:22] It was a high-end Cuban joint Nuevo Latino
[00:11:29] I have the book I have the Nuevo Latino book right here Douglas Rodriguez. I don't know if you can see it or not
[00:11:38] but
[00:11:39] To the PBN family listening to podcast only Douglas Rodriguez Nuevo Latino is
[00:11:45] basically Cuban French
[00:11:51] Mixed dishes
[00:11:54] Awesome, man, but the food was incredible
[00:11:57] The food was incredibly decadent. I can't speak Spanish guys
[00:12:01] So estamo de Baxio de agua something about water
[00:12:08] Kill the water what is it? I don't know. I'm not good enough at Spanish. Sorry. I
[00:12:14] Appreciate you joining us though
[00:12:17] And then pumping the well shows up as we're talking about agua
[00:12:22] anyhow
[00:12:24] Nuevo Latino okay, it was a really cool place to work. It was it was a wild place because
[00:12:31] It was a 400
[00:12:33] Like cover a night restaurant. I don't know how many seats were in the whole place, but I know we turn it over a couple times
[00:12:40] 404 50 was a big night, you know
[00:12:43] Really top tier weight staff, you know, so you had the top tier button down white coat weight staff
[00:12:52] All good-looking, you know in Center City, Philadelphia
[00:12:55] dudes girls the whole nine and then
[00:12:59] And then you had the kitchen right?
[00:13:04] Oh the water's off. Okay, I got you
[00:13:07] I'm sorry to hear that my man
[00:13:09] I'd highly recommend no grid survival projects not that it'll help you right now, but
[00:13:14] It's the way I go
[00:13:16] and
[00:13:17] Then we had the kitchen break staff and then we had a basement prep level and the basement prep level was almost like
[00:13:24] exclusively Spanish-speaking like
[00:13:27] Undoubtedly filled with illegal aliens, right?
[00:13:30] And they would juice limes all day and they would do all kinds of crazy prep work
[00:13:35] and
[00:13:37] Because we made like these decadent
[00:13:40] The food was so good because we made some decadent pork and beef
[00:13:46] Dishes that were super rich like
[00:13:51] Not all p. A to coach on what is what was it called? Not the pigs foot
[00:13:56] It was called
[00:13:59] Man, I can't think of it. It was so good
[00:14:02] It was like a pork shank that was cooked in pork fat slow cooked in pork fat all night
[00:14:10] Pardon me
[00:14:11] And then we would slice it and we would put Jimmy Churri on it
[00:14:15] Which was like a vinegary herb mix, you know and and a lot of the dishes
[00:14:19] in the Nuevo Latino
[00:14:22] Style were like that they were super rich
[00:14:25] With tangy lime juice based stuff on them or tangy vinegar based stuff
[00:14:33] And one of the things that we made man, wow my voice is going crazy right now
[00:14:38] One of the things that we used to make
[00:14:40] Was a red onion jalapeno pickle
[00:14:44] Yeah, it was a red onion and jalapeno pickle
[00:14:48] And the brine itself was sweet. It was a sweet and salty brine almost like a gherkin
[00:14:55] You know like a sweet pickle brine
[00:14:59] And we would use a mandolin and a mandolin is like a flat surface that you run onions on or run
[00:15:05] Vegetables on and then there's a blade that lines up with it flat
[00:15:10] And we would use a mandolin and we would shave down these onions man until they were paper thin
[00:15:16] And then we do the same thing with jalapeno
[00:15:19] And you wind up with these paper thin onions and these paper thin jalapeno slices
[00:15:25] and you drop them into that sweet
[00:15:28] pickle and
[00:15:30] Dude that sweet pickle
[00:15:33] Was spicy
[00:15:35] What's up Jor-8 Jor-8? We're over on Instagram too buddy. You might want to pop in the video
[00:15:40] What's up JB in the Ella in the element chat?
[00:15:44] And
[00:15:45] Dave Jones, thanks for joining us man. We all we were gonna bring Dave Jones on tonight, but I
[00:15:51] Didn't have a way to get him so that the people of Instagram could hear him. I've got to figure out how to do that
[00:15:58] Okay, let so
[00:16:00] Halloween shaved jalapeno shaved red onion pickle sweet brine. Just look up a sweet pickle brine
[00:16:06] I'm telling you those those out of your garden
[00:16:09] Red onion and and maybe like cilantro if you want or something along those lines
[00:16:17] It's 2 a.m. In Portugal and Jor-8's with us man. Wow
[00:16:23] That's dedication all right we got to talk about what's happening in Brazil because we got a live
[00:16:31] Live one here
[00:16:33] Alexandro Albuquerque
[00:16:36] girl
[00:16:37] Gay, okay, if I if I said it right
[00:16:42] He says we're running out of water in the south of Brazil
[00:16:45] Most of the highways are flooded by water from rain that filled our city many people and children lost their lives and many
[00:16:52] left with on with on
[00:16:57] So South Brazil I don't know the details but
[00:17:02] That sounds terrible
[00:17:05] It's amazing the things that you read about and the things they decide not to to
[00:17:11] Throw into my feed
[00:17:14] So Brazil floods Lula seek state of emergency after 85 dead in rain ravages. Holy shit the whole city is under water
[00:17:22] Oh my god, what a picture
[00:17:26] Wow
[00:17:27] This is like a
[00:17:32] The arena dig dig grandma cremeo
[00:17:36] Is unlike underwater
[00:17:38] Not underwater, but but it's floating. Oh
[00:17:42] My god that the picture here. Let me throw the picture in element
[00:17:47] That's a crazy picture because
[00:17:50] Oh, I'm sorry refrigerator pickle for what I was talking about
[00:17:55] Yeah, I'm a big I only really like refrigerator pickle
[00:17:58] I'm not a big fan of the cooking in the warming of the brine
[00:18:03] The reason I don't like to warm the brine
[00:18:07] Is because it's makes stuff soft, you know what I mean
[00:18:11] Like when we did when we would do the daikon radish and
[00:18:15] The carrot we would Julie not we would there would be like quarter inch almost like french fry
[00:18:22] little smaller than french fry right and
[00:18:26] We would heat the brine
[00:18:28] Put it in a big container in a restaurant, right?
[00:18:30] And then we would throw all our daikon radish and carrot into that brine
[00:18:34] It was still like warm throw the whole thing in the fridge. Let it do what it do
[00:18:38] That was what worked best for us
[00:18:41] All right, I get us I get to show you this Reuters
[00:18:45] Because this Reuters is absolutely outrageous I
[00:18:50] Apologize for the coughing tonight folks
[00:18:53] I just threw the biggest link in the element chat
[00:18:56] I don't really put links in this chat over here
[00:19:02] So the Rio Grande has flooded
[00:19:05] In the south of Brazil it looks like according to our
[00:19:09] sources in Instagram
[00:19:14] Lula flies over Rio Grande do soul as army races to rescue stranded families
[00:19:22] It's crazy looking because it's not like a rural area. I mean, I'm sure there are rural areas
[00:19:29] but there's like
[00:19:31] I mean big-ass skyscrapers and all everything around them is flooded
[00:19:37] Wow, here's a video. I don't even know if I want to see it
[00:19:44] It's too close to bed for this kind of horror
[00:19:50] Yeah, flooding is real man flooding is legit. That is one of the reasons
[00:19:55] We plan for the bug out and the evacuation, right?
[00:20:00] A lot of people get wrapped up in the bug out man the bug out fine
[00:20:03] Good to have a bug out but
[00:20:06] Sometimes evacuation is enough, you know when it comes to flood. That's what you want
[00:20:10] You want to go button a go now button that works, right? I'm going
[00:20:15] We're gonna go now and that's where we've got places picked out to go
[00:20:19] It's very important
[00:20:21] A lot of people get wrapped up on that bug out that end of the world post-apocalyptic zombies are closing in on me
[00:20:28] bug out idea
[00:20:31] But a good old evacuation plan still gets it keeps you and your family safe, you know
[00:20:37] Well for a man Alexandra
[00:20:39] Alexandra
[00:20:43] Alexandra
[00:20:45] I'm very sorry man that you guys are going through that. It's terrible
[00:20:50] It's absolutely horrible. We just got our asses kicked by tornadoes in the mid in the Midwest there
[00:20:57] Probably a good idea to own a canoe or a John boat if you live near an area that's even remotely at risk of flooding
[00:21:02] Oh, yeah, I'll tell you what's cool is those inflatable kayaks man. Those inflatable kayaks they
[00:21:10] Really break down, you know if you're tight on space or something like that
[00:21:15] Travel well, you know, so if you're heading out of town. Oh, Dave Jones ordered two copies of the world already
[00:21:28] He said it not me I might as well show it off
[00:21:34] There she is the world of ready. Oh
[00:21:37] JB said that
[00:21:40] Oklahoma's getting it today here in America. Are they getting tornadoes JB or just just floods
[00:21:52] Dave Jones typing I need more water man, where's my
[00:21:57] Where's my staff?
[00:21:59] Somebody come save me throats killing me
[00:22:05] Okay, so Oklahoma's getting the getting torn that tornadic supercells today
[00:22:12] Yeah, it's terrifying area to live tornado alley
[00:22:18] Garden girl backs that up Oklahoma in Kansas on high risk of tornadoes
[00:22:23] This is fun. It's pretty fun guys. Thank you. Thank you on both sides
[00:22:28] It's you know, it's very cool
[00:22:33] It's very weird to exist in in split between the Instagram group and the PBN group even though there is some overlap
[00:22:45] Survival camp here. Mr. K Reynolds says survival camp no room left at camp ground
[00:22:51] Is it worth attending if I have to stay at a nearby hotel? Are you talking about prepper camp?
[00:22:57] Mr. K Reynolds is this mark?
[00:23:01] Is this like mark if you know who I'm talking about then you verify that it is mark
[00:23:09] If you're talking about prepper camp
[00:23:15] There are okay cool, it is mark. What's up dude?
[00:23:20] How you doing? I don't know that I've seen you in here before have I?
[00:23:25] very cool
[00:23:27] Yeah, so prepper camp
[00:23:29] Two things that you could do
[00:23:33] The camp sites the legitimate campsites sell out quick
[00:23:37] You may want to call them up and ask them about a tent city spot
[00:23:41] If you don't want to be piled up against other campers
[00:23:45] Don't go to tent city because tent city is basically a drive-in road that that ends at the woods edge and
[00:23:52] Then in that area like in that sort of long-sided you is a bunch of campers
[00:23:59] If you like people and don't mind being close to people it's pretty cool scene
[00:24:05] And you're only like I
[00:24:07] Don't know 50 yards from all the action
[00:24:12] I mean there's I don't want to make I don't want to write any checks. I can't cash for your mark, but
[00:24:23] message me on the
[00:24:26] Message me through email or through element are you in element? You should be an element it could because
[00:24:34] technically I
[00:24:37] Technically I have a spot space for you
[00:24:41] At where I camp which is behind my tent. I can have you pour a little bit of coffee and make a claim that you're
[00:24:49] You're working the disaster coffee booth with me and you could sleep on the lake
[00:24:55] You can you can be soaked in the morning like the rest of us losers down there J. Panetto
[00:25:04] So if you go to prepper broadcasting calm and then click the live tab, okay
[00:25:13] But but mark definitely get the communication with me going because I'll forget you know what I mean
[00:25:20] Anyhow if you go to prepper broadcasting gut calm JP or anybody else in Instagram or anybody else listening at large to the podcast
[00:25:31] Prepper broadcasting calm click the live show section there
[00:25:35] And what you'll get is the ability to join our live chat and that just gives you access to element
[00:25:42] You see we've got we got lambasted
[00:25:45] There's a word for you
[00:25:49] We got lambasted
[00:25:53] Oh JB I'm sorry Dave Jones says get on the wait list so something might open up
[00:25:59] We got lambasted by YouTube we got lambasted by discord this was like
[00:26:07] 2019 even this was like pre-pandemic. I think even
[00:26:11] Might have been 2020. I don't remember exactly the best thing that ever happened to me though
[00:26:16] we got pitched off of those platforms and
[00:26:22] We decided to go our own way
[00:26:25] You know what I mean and then our buddy chin who's on the Sunday night live show the changing earth said hey check this
[00:26:33] program check this software check this
[00:26:36] Chat room thing out element. It's called
[00:26:40] And we were checking out element
[00:26:43] Because it was a
[00:26:45] You know an encrypted sort of discord
[00:26:48] And we wanted a place for everybody, you know the people
[00:26:51] Just like the people at Instagram the people that come into the element chat and and the PBN family at large all our members are
[00:26:58] Over at element all of our great listeners or a lot of our great listeners are over at element
[00:27:04] They have so much knowledge. It's insanity. You know what I mean? Like you can't hold on to it all
[00:27:12] So over there we have a variety of chat rooms you you come to the live chat
[00:27:17] hang out with us
[00:27:19] Don't say anything too stupid and I'll give you access to the rest of the rooms. You know what I mean?
[00:27:25] And we got a lot man. We got a lot of cool stuff. We've got
[00:27:29] Garden and home studying
[00:27:32] We got our live show room. We just added the PBN family cookbook. So that's just a room for recipes
[00:27:38] We've got us economy and business news farm and livestock news deal finders
[00:27:43] Oh
[00:27:46] That's right. That's right the Dave Jones hit it on the head. That's what it was
[00:27:52] Prepping projects prepper related events
[00:27:56] We've got our World War three bunker over there where we were talking all Ukraine and Russia when that kicked off
[00:28:02] Shortages health events ham study group. Well, I mean we got it all we got it all take my word for it
[00:28:08] Yeah in in 2019 no in the early in January 2020 I attended a gigantic
[00:28:16] Second amendment rally here in Richmond
[00:28:19] to stand up to
[00:28:21] Governor Ralph Northam who was prepared to throw
[00:28:25] Myself and every other AR 15 owning
[00:28:28] Person into prison by July if we didn't hand over our AR 15th and if you remember
[00:28:36] There was a massive protest here in Richmond in 2020 right before the pandemic and
[00:28:43] You know it got overshadowed by
[00:28:45] it got massively overshadowed by the pandemic and it got outshined by the
[00:28:52] January 6th with which really
[00:28:55] Pailed in comparison to what we did in Richmond like what we did in Richmond was
[00:29:01] Magic it was so amazing. It was like 10 out
[00:29:06] 5 or 10 out. I think it was tops
[00:29:09] It's really cold for Richmond that day
[00:29:13] And
[00:29:15] I'm telling you right now man
[00:29:18] The streets of Richmond were lined with with so many people and and people were singing the national anthem in America the beautiful and
[00:29:27] The whole street would start singing it
[00:29:30] everybody like
[00:29:32] 40,000 people were singing it. You know what I mean? And it was crazy and Alex Jones was driving this big-ass truck
[00:29:39] around the outside of the whole event
[00:29:42] It was crazy dude, I wouldn't remember walking up to get a coffee to try to warm up coming back
[00:29:47] Yeah, it was it was amazing. I mean you go watch some YouTube videos
[00:29:53] I got a little bit of video
[00:29:54] I think no I think I only got podcasts but you can watch YouTube videos of that event and see and
[00:29:59] Everybody outside the gate was packing
[00:30:02] That was the craziest part like I went inside the gate to get close to the speakers and to report
[00:30:08] To back to PBN about what was going on
[00:30:11] But when you went outside
[00:30:13] Everybody was slung everybody was carrying. You know what? I mean it was and no nothing no problems
[00:30:21] There wasn't a problem to be had nobody broke into any buildings
[00:30:25] Nobody did shit. They just gathered together and had
[00:30:30] What was an actual protest? I mean it was an actual it was an actual freedom-loving
[00:30:36] America-loving protest
[00:30:38] Where people were literally by the tens of thousands singing the national anthem and it was
[00:30:43] It was stirring
[00:30:45] It was stirring and it was
[00:30:48] It had to be to some degree intimidating
[00:30:51] You know what I mean? There was no violence. There was no threat of violence, but there was 30
[00:30:56] 30,000 men probably on the outside who were armed and were just standing there
[00:31:02] Now there was no game. There was no January 6th move the fences were coming in mentality at all
[00:31:08] But I think it was a beautiful representation of an American protest because it was a reminder of like
[00:31:15] Here we are
[00:31:17] You know, we don't want violence
[00:31:21] But here we are
[00:31:23] Because that you know the the event came people came from the whole entire nation to that event
[00:31:29] that that
[00:31:31] House bill
[00:31:32] Drove people so crazy that people from all over the country came to that event
[00:31:38] and
[00:31:40] I'm so glad I went. I am so glad that I went
[00:31:44] We should have the very similar things elsewhere in this nation as a reminder because it was great
[00:31:50] Dave Jones in the chat room says they cleaned up trash and the cops thanked them they put up
[00:31:56] Uh, they put up es and no one took them down
[00:32:01] Yeah, I remember that I remember leaving out of there and seeing people with trash bags on the outside
[00:32:06] There were protesters
[00:32:08] With the brought roles of trash bags and cleaned up after themselves now just
[00:32:14] Put that in one pile
[00:32:17] And then look at what's been left over at the camp Gaza over there in columbia
[00:32:24] Over there in nyu
[00:32:26] Yeah, it's a different kind of person. It just is what it is. You know what I mean? It's just a different kind of person
[00:32:33] Yeah, save the 2a event man. That was a beautiful time. It was cold as hell
[00:32:39] But worth it
[00:32:41] big time worth it
[00:32:44] No doubt about it
[00:32:46] Let's talk
[00:32:48] Let's talk about our sponsors real quick while we're on the subject of 2a

[00:38:04] And by the way, I bought all that stuff. You know what I mean? I didn't get any of it for free
[00:38:11] But whatever, you know, it's the best it's I don't know
[00:38:15] There's a thing in prepping guys, you know either
[00:38:19] If you're all in then you're all in
[00:38:22] And then and and if you're all in and you've been all in for a while these things just
[00:38:27] It's like compounding interest
[00:38:30] In my yard right now. I have multitudes of compounding interest
[00:38:35] You watch my video from earlier this morning
[00:38:40] There's a tidal wave of raspberries coming from my ass in that video
[00:38:46] Because it's years and years, you know, I I plan out a little stick a little black Hawk raspberry stick with with bare roots
[00:38:54] Of 10 years ago, you know what I mean in the dirt behind the fence
[00:39:00] It's taken over the back
[00:39:02] moved up into the yard and you know
[00:39:06] What's better than
[00:39:09] There's almost nothing better than
[00:39:11] Going out
[00:39:14] In a month or two
[00:39:16] And standing at that big bunch of bushes with my eight year old and eating raspberries
[00:39:20] Just talking and eating you know what I mean right out there
[00:39:24] Forget about Bill Gates raspberries forget about uh
[00:39:28] mRNA raspberries in the market
[00:39:34] You know that's just how it works new world viking. What's up? I haven't been paying much attention to the instagram chat
[00:39:40] Sorry, I'm yakking
[00:39:42] I thank you guys a lot of people showing up
[00:39:45] A lot of people showing up over the years
[00:39:47] I'm not
[00:39:49] A lot of people showing up over the instagram side, but then again the uh
[00:39:53] The pbn chats looking impressive too. We got a strong cast
[00:40:01] Hey mark don't worry about it man wherever you're comfortable buddy
[00:40:05] I just wanted to cross the streams a la dan acroyd in uh ghostbusters. You know what I mean?
[00:40:12] I wanted to
[00:40:14] I wanted to see what would happen when worlds collided
[00:40:17] Um
[00:40:19] And it's been good. We got jaden crump with us. We got Wagner santosa with us
[00:40:26] these guys uh
[00:40:28] They don't get a taste of me for an hour at a time a lot of times
[00:40:30] I'm with them for about 10 15 minutes when I can't over at instagram
[00:40:36] So I thought it'd be fun to do an hour long and hang up hang out hang out with them
[00:40:43] Uh, I just saw a weird name. I'm not used to seeing in the
[00:40:47] In the element chat
[00:40:49] Oh, no here it is
[00:40:52] Is kyle the haas a new person?
[00:40:56] Or am I a bad uh, or am I a bad purveyor here?
[00:41:03] What else
[00:41:05] Compounding interest in prepping it's 942 we could probably round this baby out
[00:41:10] It's been a blast
[00:41:13] Dave jones the nbc guy you're supposed to be in bed
[00:41:16] You said you were getting out at 9 30 it's 9 42 man
[00:41:22] It's bad santa now there you go. Okay good good deal, man. I know you need your rest
[00:41:29] Dave jones is uh
[00:41:31] Homesteader extraordinaire
[00:41:33] And that's like one of a thousand titles he owns
[00:41:39] We love Dave
[00:41:41] Uh, what else what else you would guys want to talk about anything else?
[00:41:45] My voice is going
[00:41:47] It's about had it
[00:41:49] I'm gonna go drink another cup of coffee at 10 o'clock at night like an idiot and be up till like one o'clock
[00:41:56] Feeling like crap, you know
[00:41:59] But it's been fun. I appreciate you guys
[00:42:02] i'm glad uh
[00:42:04] Glad so many people came out to the pbn chat man. What a great group in there
[00:42:10] Man, Dave jones jore jb
[00:42:14] Mark marky mark with us
[00:42:18] Yeah, that's a good time man
[00:42:20] That's a good crew
[00:42:23] so
[00:42:25] The truth of it all is folks on both sides of the ball
[00:42:31] There's really no way around it. Um
[00:42:34] If you want to get your fangs really deep into prepping
[00:42:38] All the information in the world
[00:42:40] Can't make up for time
[00:42:43] And that might sound like a downer
[00:42:46] That might sound rough, you know what I mean, but the reality is
[00:42:52] Prepping takes time it really does it takes time and
[00:42:57] Around eight to ten years in is when I really started seeing
[00:43:02] What I wanted to see
[00:43:05] And that's scary for somebody just starting out because because you might be looking at 2032
[00:43:12] And the way the world is right now that's unnerving, but I will tell you this
[00:43:17] That's a hell of a lot better than waiting till 2025 to get started
[00:43:22] It's a hell of a lot better than waiting
[00:43:24] Until 2030 to get started, you know
[00:43:28] So
[00:43:31] No more excuses
[00:43:32] You know what I mean? No more excuses and and most importantly
[00:43:38] Get nuts
[00:43:41] What do I mean by that?
[00:43:43] You pull up to my house in the middle of the day
[00:43:46] There might be pit bulls in the backyard chickens in the front yard
[00:43:50] Some crazy dude outside with an axe, you know what I mean?
[00:43:56] So
[00:43:58] You need to
[00:43:59] Come out of your shell a bit. You need to come out of your comfort zone a bit
[00:44:02] You need to stop worrying about what people think about you
[00:44:07] And uh
[00:44:12] You know
[00:44:13] You got to get rocking
[00:44:14] You got to get living the life
[00:44:16] You know what I mean? Living the life that you want to live
[00:44:20] and I'm telling you right now like
[00:44:22] I don't care who you are
[00:44:25] You come out of your house, right?
[00:44:28] And your kids are playing out back
[00:44:32] And you got no shirt on and you look good and you have an axe in your hand
[00:44:36] And you're going to go split wood and it's hot out
[00:44:39] And the garden is blowing up all over the place and there's some pit bulls running around
[00:44:46] Chickens clucking around
[00:44:48] Like you take a breath and look around at that and you're like
[00:44:53] This is the way to do it. You know what I mean? Like this is the way to do it to hell with everybody
[00:45:00] And that's what it has to be it has to be to hell with everybody because all my life people have said
[00:45:05] What are you doing this for? What are you doing that for? Why do you have a wood burning fireplace?
[00:45:09] Why don't just get a gas one. It's easier. Why do you have a generator?
[00:45:13] What do you need a generator for?
[00:45:15] Uh years years, I've endured this nonsense
[00:45:19] and uh
[00:45:20] What do you have chickens for they're dirty and smelly and loud?
[00:45:25] Not really
[00:45:28] But I can tell you right now
[00:45:31] Uh
[00:45:32] Life is great. Okay, and life is continually great
[00:45:37] Because you know after a while
[00:45:41] Prepping will seep into your day to day
[00:45:44] This prepping will become your lifestyle homesteading will become your lifestyle if you let it in
[00:45:50] If you let it in and if you're brave enough to tell people
[00:45:53] This is who I am and this is what I do
[00:45:57] You know
[00:45:58] This is what I want to do
[00:46:01] I had a third bedroom
[00:46:03] And now it's filled up with preps
[00:46:06] And there's a padlock on it and that might seem weird to you and we're making me eat in the pantry
[00:46:11] And that might seem weird to you, but whatever it's who I am. It's what i'm doing
[00:46:16] I do all kinds of weird stuff guys. I do all kinds of weird prepping stuff
[00:46:20] And I also do all kinds of weird stuff that my people
[00:46:24] The pbn family even some of them are like, why do you do that?
[00:46:28] You know
[00:46:30] Because i'm living my life
[00:46:33] You know what I mean
[00:46:34] Like there's a list of things that I want to do and it doesn't have anything to do with them or you
[00:46:39] Or you know what i'm saying me my family
[00:46:44] You got to find that freedom for yourself
[00:46:47] There's nobody in your way
[00:46:49] You know and if they are in your way and they're that much of a problem because you want to start living a self-reliant lifestyle
[00:46:56] Then you just have to you just have to call their bluff. You gotta you got to play chicken with them
[00:47:01] Maybe literally
[00:47:03] You know
[00:47:05] You just got to start living that life
[00:47:08] You start living that life and most of the time look most people ain't good and are not for action anyway
[00:47:14] They might say things like oh, I don't you
[00:47:18] Whatever you know and just say okay. Well, we'll see
[00:47:22] JP and chat says I remember the first time I got ridiculed for storing food. Some people think it's such a stupid idea blows my mind
[00:47:30] Yeah, it's what I mean
[00:47:32] One fundamental thing and and then I'll get off is uh
[00:47:38] If it helps you sleep at night, it's key
[00:47:43] Right we live in a world where anxiety is everywhere all the time
[00:47:48] Because and a large part of that is because people are afraid to do the things that would that would cool them off
[00:47:54] They're afraid to do the things that would limit anxiety. Oh my god. I'm so terrified of of this thing
[00:48:00] But i'm too also terrified of doing the thing that would mitigate it right
[00:48:04] Like i'm terrified of the big scary world with big scary people in it who could hurt me
[00:48:10] But i'm also terrified to carry a gun because my girlfriend doesn't like them
[00:48:15] You know what I mean
