[00:00:07] We have to hit the reset button and create a true culture preparedness starting at a very young age and filtering all the way up. What is it that gentlemen wish? What would they have?
[00:00:38] Is life so dear or peace so sweet as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Or bid it almighty God? I know not what cause others may take. As for me, give me liberty or give me death. Long day's journey in tonight.
[00:01:38] Check your brown city wall. Check your don't worry. I'll give you credit where credit's due. It's a big one today. It's a big one for the family, generational thing, emotional thing, milestone thing. You realize there's no going back thing.
[00:02:09] You realize that you're here at this point in your life and there's no going back. You realize that every step is a step in the direction of the coffin. You realize that what you used to wrap in a blanket and a diaper is going to be set loose
[00:02:28] upon the world. That is a marker though. I was thinking about that today. That is most certainly a marker. Think about your children entering the world. Are you setting the world loose on your kids? Or are you setting your kids loose on the world?
[00:02:53] I think that's a measure of how you've done as a parent. In some ways. Depends on my confidence level to be quite honest most of the time. How I feel about answering that question. Depends on how confident I am at the moment.
[00:03:10] Am I setting them loose into a manic? Am I setting them loose upon the world? Or am I setting the world loose upon them? I'm sitting in a church pew, right? Let's get the jazz back. We'll just tell it like we lived it.
[00:03:30] I'm sitting in a church pew. Surrounded by moms and dads. I don't know what the fraction is of people who are bawling their eyes out as we watch this slide show of our children. We watch it, you know, the slides going down the slides on the slide show.
[00:03:54] Painting, haircuts, Christmas, the whole thing. I'm just up crying my eyes out. I don't even care though. When you want to cry, just cry. It's enough already with all the nonsense about not going to cry. Not going to do it.
[00:04:20] It's one thing to cry when you want to cry. It's another thing to cry on camera when you're trying to get people to listen to what you have to say. We've seen that too. I'm sitting in this pew and I'm having this emotional revelation, right?
[00:04:38] Because there's all these little creatures standing before me having this big milestone moment. You start thinking to yourself, you know, this is what you do. You set your children out into the world. You sick them upon this planet. You sick them upon this planet.
[00:05:03] Bring them all up there. When I looked at each individual one, I saw a kid but when I looked at them all, I said God look at the potential. Look at the potential on the stage here. You want to hold it like a Kamehameha wave.
[00:05:19] Potential like that, you know? And if you could target potential like that, imagine what you could do. So there I am in the pews, bawling my eyes out, 35 year old man. Right? Prepper. Right? And all that goes along with it.
[00:05:41] I'm supposed to feign like I'm some tough guy, right? I'm just a tough guy. Prepper, ready for the end of the world. You all could go to hell. I fall apart, you know? Just is what it is. Fall apart a lot nowadays to be quite honest with you.
[00:05:56] Tears I mean, you know, not fall apart. Can't get my shit together but fall apart. Get emotional cry. Good movies on. You know what I mean? I was watching Dragon Ball Z the other day crying. This is what it is. What can you do?
[00:06:08] What are you going to fight it? This is what I see fathers in size of Goku and Gohan. You know what I mean? Get what it is. But it was a day like this, you know?
[00:06:26] The day, the workout, the whole thing, you know, it just took a lot out of me, I guess. I don't know. But I got announcements and things like that. There's not a lot of news. Google's into the hospitals now so good luck. Good luck.
[00:06:40] You know, you really need to start worrying about your health span over your life span. That's all I can tell you. Enjoy it while you got it because they're using algorithms now to figure out.
[00:06:48] They're going to use the algorithm, I guess, to figure out who lives and who dies, right? This one doesn't even have the vaccine. Jesus. He voted for Trump back in 2016. Don't give him the liver. He's not worth it, says the Google algorithm. We searched his YouTube, upload history.
[00:07:15] He's got two strikes. He don't get the kidney. Get him the hell out of here. Actually, you know what? Take his kidneys, then get him the hell out of here. Yeah, Google in the hospital is great. Great.
[00:07:27] I thought Fidel, I thought when we wanted Fidel Castro-style healthcare, we were in trouble. Now we want, you know, yikes. But like I said, the news is what it is. There's not a lot going on. There's always a lot going on. Everything and nothing.
[00:07:44] You know what I mean? There's a lot going on. There's nothing going on. The world is ending. It's never been better. Best of times where, you know, it's tailed two cities. Whatever. You know what I mean? I had this big show dreamed up in my head, guys.
[00:07:58] Oh, it was so good. I was sitting there in the pew. Emotion. I got life boiling up in me. So proud. So happy with everything. And I got this idea about this show I'm going to do about boys and sons and rearing children
[00:08:14] and it's going to be deep. And I'm going to really pick it apart and explain the magic of having sons. And then this rolls around and I'm dead on my feet and I'm thinking, how am I going to even pull this off tonight?
[00:08:32] You know, that's how I felt. I'm even going to pull this off. So I said to my, you know what? We'll do the maybe we'll do the sons show another time. It's important when I do want to talk about kids.
[00:08:44] I do want to talk about preparedness for your kids and I don't mean preparing right now for kids right now. But as preppers, you should be foreshadowing, you know? And there are some moves that you can make and some steps that you can take to prepare
[00:09:05] your children for the future. You know, when you say something like that, you think I teach them how to make a fire, teach them how to think bigger, think bigger, bigger, bigger, right? Think where are they going to live? Where will your children live when they're 30?
[00:09:30] Where could they live where they won't be screwed around with? We don't know that cities, we don't know that even small cities will be livable in that time. Though I will tell you, BBN family, in all honesty, there is something to be said
[00:09:47] about this moment in time in the course of history because we are for the first time ever in the history of America. We're entering into a time where these forces that have been crying and braying about the struggles of being American have finally captured ultimate power, right?
[00:10:15] In other words, it's not about one race or even one gender, but there are frack factions, rather, within gender and within race that have long been just seizing, you know, seizure level complaints and dissidents towards the nation, this amazing nation.
[00:10:41] I mean, just, you know, lifetimes worth of crying and bumbling and mumbling and woe is me. And you know who they are, right? Most of them teach in the colleges. But under Joe Biden, they've somehow figured out how to seize ultimate power and, you
[00:10:59] know, they got Disney on their heels, they got, you know, all these things, right? It's all in their favor and a lot of people are really pissed about it and suck some. Or the whole country is lost. Well, again, don't assume that these monsters are the country, right?
[00:11:20] The country's been hijacked by a small faction of radicals that don't even know the English language. They don't even know the English language, do you understand? And I don't mean that in saying they don't know how to speak it. I mean that they say sentences.
[00:11:39] They compose sentences with words and don't even make sense. They don't know the language, right? They've so fucked the language up that it's insanity to listen to it. But that's how their brains work. Their brains are radicalized and broken and manipulated, right?
[00:11:59] They'll dress a person and call one person they. That's pronoun. So James Walton is going a prepper camp and they are going to be giving a talk. These are the people at the helm, okay? To follow the bouncing ball. What do you see?
[00:12:20] Do you think they tear it all down? You think they tear it all down for real? I think they make a laughing stock of themselves and for the first time in history, they don't have the white man to blame it on. Think about that for a minute.
[00:12:38] Just to be frank, right? And to be honest, for all these, the history of America according to the 1619 crew, according to the, what's the other one? Critical race theory crew. America is the story of the big nasty white man getting in the way of everyone else, right?
[00:13:00] And the goal has long been get the big nasty white man out of the way so that we all can live happily ever after. And yeah, they got him on his heels I guess. I don't know. They've radicalized enough. They've taken enough positions in power.
[00:13:17] I was talking to my father-in-law tonight who let me in on a little statistic. I haven't checked it, but I have no doubts. He said, yeah, why don't you guess the Portland murder rate? Just guess it. What do you think it's up from last year?
[00:13:34] Just what do you think? The Portland murder rate is up 800%. OK? So something like that works in Portland. Why? See, you look at this is where people make mistakes, guys. You look at Portland and you say, oh my god, it's going to happen everywhere.
[00:13:54] The liberals take it over and all everybody's going to die in the streets. No, Portland was already a liberal nightmare before they allowed the street gangs to take over, right? It was already a nightmare.
[00:14:08] It's a very different, that place is such a different place compared to the Southeast, compared to the Midwest, compared to the central parts of the nation, right? Compared to Texas. I'm a little concerned about Texas, though, to be honest.
[00:14:24] This constitutional carry business, I'm a little concerned about the cities in Texas because I think they're because they're so friendly with firearms. I really do think it's going to play to the hands of the radicals who moved there
[00:14:39] from California and other places because they're not going to just turn Texan. You know, I got news for you down there, the Lone Star State. These people didn't just move over from California to start loving the country all of a sudden.
[00:14:52] They've had a lifetime in the Golden State hating America. So as people get radicalized, I don't know, Texas could be in some trouble. I hope not. I hope not. I hope they whip those people into shape or kick them out to the desert, you know what I mean?
[00:15:13] But not every place is going to go the way of Portland. That's just not how it's going to go. The way it's going to go is people are going to watch the complete and utter failure in different varieties, right?
[00:15:25] Remember a long time ago, like two years ago, I told you there would be state-level collapse in a variety of flavors? That's all that we're living through. If it had not been for the disgusting federal government taking the nation's tax dollars
[00:15:47] and bailing out states, which is maybe one of the worst things that could have happened, then we would already be seeing that high-level state-level collapse, right? And state-level collapse would look a bunch of different ways in a bunch of different places, you know, in Portland, Oregon.
[00:16:02] It looks like what you're seeing, 800% rise in murders. Business is squandered and flailing. And the people of Portland walking around be fuddled with their Starbucks coffee like, I don't know what happened. I hope it gets better.
[00:16:18] I don't like to see any cities in America look like shit, man. I like the cities of America. I was born and raised right by one of America's biggest cities. I spent a lot of time in this city of Philadelphia.
[00:16:31] It's not, you know, I'm not one of these conservative guys. It's like, ah, these liberal cities burned them to the ground. No, I live on the fantasy that we will one day see the former glory of these cities again.
[00:16:49] I know it seems like a pipe dream now, but, you know, give it time. You have to give it time. You have to give these people in power time to fail and fall flat on their face miserably and terribly because that's what they're setting themselves up for.
[00:17:07] It's not me. It's not me saying, God, I sure hope everyone fails who's in office. It's not that, you know, they force themselves into positions literally. And most of them are unqualified to do what they're set out to do.
[00:17:22] And also they've set out to do something that's almost impossible if we're talking about equity, right? So who starts to crack first is the question, right? Does the black community start to crack first?
[00:17:34] Do they start to say, you know, how come all of our people are in power and life still sucks for me? Right? Do they crack first is the Latino community crack today? Do the I know it's not going to be the white liberals because they're the monsters
[00:17:50] behind it. All right. They're the ones who've played this game since the job, the turn of the century. And I don't mean this century, right? They've played this game for so long. It's astounding and every generation, a bunch of morons show up and eat it up.
[00:18:10] I like that liberalism. Let me have some more of that. That's really worked over the years. So you don't know where your kids are going to wind up living, you know, or where they might be able to live.
[00:18:25] I think one of the best preps and these are in advance. These are foreshadowing preps. These are not things you're going to buy tomorrow. Well, maybe some, but not all one of the biggest foreshadowing preps that you can, you can set
[00:18:41] aside or create for your child right now for their future is rural land. You know, buying a piece of rural land that becomes theirs when they get old enough or when they decide they need it.
[00:18:59] You know, your kid, you listen, you need to give your kids a lot of freedom. Okay, I'm telling you from experience. I was a kid once. You got to give them a lot of freedom because they got to they got to screw up, man.
[00:19:14] You got to let them work. You got to let them get fired. You got to let them fail in school. You got to do all that stuff, you know, they have to go through it.
[00:19:22] You got to let them date the crazy girl and have her rip their heart out and run it over. You got to do that stuff because they have to feel the pain of real life.
[00:19:33] And they may make their way right in a town or a city that works for them and may never need that land. And then you just give them land, you know, it's a great investment, whatever you do
[00:19:43] what you want with a hunt on a fish, whatever, Billy Cabin, take the family, whatever you want to do. But if you have that piece of land and you find over the next 10, 15 years that
[00:19:53] the world has gone sour, as you know, it has just as much a chance to go sour as any other outcome I think. Then you say, look, little Johnny, we got enough room here to build your home.
[00:20:07] We got a spot on the other side of the land for your brother's home. And if you guys want to live out your days out here and do the home steady thing
[00:20:15] and, you know, live off the land as best you can, not have to go into these crazy cities very often, then this is yours. You know, this is a prep that we created for you. And that's one of the best you can do right now guys, you know.
[00:20:33] It's one of the best things you can do in talking about preparing your children's future. These aren't responsibilities. These aren't things that you should put on a list and say, listen, honey, we've got to achieve this.
[00:20:44] You know, but if you're foreshadowing and you have the ability or the money or the opportunity to set your kid up for the coming, then these are the things that I would do. These are the things that I would do. It's land, firearms, ammunition, you know.
[00:21:06] You think ammunition is expensive now? How do you think it will look in 20 years if you could buy it? The guns that you can buy now, the cool ones, right? The bullpup. I love the looks of that thing. But anyway, oh, Palmetto State Armory has a AR 12 gauge.
[00:21:30] It's like the tactical shotgun on sale this weekend Memorial Day sale 399. So I don't know if you're into that kind of thing. But if you are 399, PSA, I think it's all weekend Memorial Day. They'll probably sell out if I had to guess. They're sweet.
[00:21:51] But guns like that, a gun that looks like an AR 15 with a magazine. I don't even know how many rounds it holds, right? I don't know how many rounds that thing holds, but you got a magazine, you got this
[00:22:05] chassis, this beautiful looking fire on this devastating shotgun built out like an AR 15. I don't know if it's semi-automatic pump. I didn't really check it out too much. Just like that, I don't think they're going to be around much.
[00:22:20] I could be wrong, but those types of things, buying up a couple of cheap AR 15s for the kids. I mean, to be honest, listen, you want to buy up an AR 15 for the kids, that's fine. Do that.
[00:22:32] But if I were you, I'd buy the real utility loadout before I bought AR 15s for the kids. Get them a good carry, daily carry pistol. Get them a good holster for it.
[00:22:48] I don't know if you want to do that that far ahead of time, but why not? A good everyday carry pistol, good holster, right? Get them a real 12-gauge shotgun with enough space to store some rounds where you can be effective.
[00:23:05] Maybe get them a good hunting shotgun, 18 plus inch. I don't know what the regulations are to your state, but that's what they are here. Maybe get them some kind of .22. You get them a cool little AR 22. That's kind of fun, right? What else?
[00:23:24] What else are you going to buy the kids? You know, you're going to get them like an MP5 or something. I don't know. But put these things up. Buy them now, put them up.
[00:23:38] And as the years go on, you'll know, well, I'll set my kid up on a piece of land. And, you know, and they'll be ready. They'll be ready to go hunting rifle. You get them a .30 out of six like daddy. I don't know what you guys shoot.
[00:23:54] That's what I shoot. But get them a good solid hunting rifle. You know something that will put anything down that needs to be put down from a distance. And put these things up. That's all. You just put them away. You know now you got land, firearms, ammunition.
[00:24:12] You do a lot with that. Little seed vaults. I'm not worried about that. That's not something I'm putting away from my kids. What else? You put away some hard, hard wealth, right? Put away some hard wealth. Put away, put away some silver.
[00:24:31] I'm not a big fan of gold guys. I don't know. I don't understand how you use gold. I don't understand the utility of gold in a world where you need it.
[00:24:38] I understand gold in a world where you can throw a bunch of it in a vault and sell it in big chunks. You know like if you're a monster, right? I mean are there good people with vaults of gold? The lizards.
[00:24:54] The lizards have all the vaults of gold, right? One of the lizards is getting divorced. What happens? What happens to Bill Gates going through divorce? So good. God, so good. I mean you know divorce is never good but that guy was on a little trajectory of madness
[00:25:14] I think so this will knock him off his game for a little while. But yeah, you know some real wealth. Some real usable wealth like silver, right? They weighed into a world where the US dollar is gone.
[00:25:28] They weighed into a world where cryptocurrency is like some kind of activity that only pirates participate in. I'm not comfortable with the crypto world man. I'm really not. Now with the IRS picking around in people's wallets. It's a done deal you know?
[00:25:43] The magic is gone as far as I'm concerned. I do like crypto backed software and stuff like that. I think that's cool. You know this library, this Odyssey program that we're working on it's really cool. I dig it.
[00:25:56] I think it's very cool that you can one of the ways that Odyssey makes money is that you have to pay a certain amount of credits to post a video. It's nothing.
[00:26:11] Like I've been posting videos for a long time and I have yet to have to buy any library credits or coins or whatever, right? But that's a cryptocurrency in and of itself and you know the way they make money is people
[00:26:27] or one way that they make money is people pay to post their videos. And what's really cool about it is if you got a really banger of a video you can choose to put a lot of money into that video.
[00:26:38] And the more money you invest in that video the better it will do in search results and things like that. So I like that. I like that because these video platforms for me are more of a utility for my listeners and members than anything else.
[00:26:52] You know so for me it just works really well. I dig it. I dig it but as far as cryptocurrency like I'm going to sell a house and all the money that I make I'm going to put into Bitcoin to hell with that.
[00:27:05] I don't like that at all because it's only a matter of time until hackers get in there. It's only a matter if the IRS figures out how to get in there then it's only a matter of time until you roll up in your wallet and you're like what?
[00:27:19] I was a millionaire yesterday now I have no money. No thanks. Take the kids some PVC pipes capped on both ends filled with silver coins ready to cash wherever they need to cash and want to cash and whatever. Throw it down a well. Whatever you got to do.
[00:27:41] Guns, land, wealth that will outlast this socioeconomic collapse something along those lines you know. The big picture stuff books get them books get them the good shit. Get them the good books. Get them the good books hardcover right get them their favorites first.
[00:28:07] My son is a huge roll doll fan man huge just love them Charlie Fox Henry sugar you name it the witches all of it he loves them. Jim Tolbooth the odd kids by Dean Koontz probably the most underrated children's book ever written
[00:28:29] all of these things you know these are things that you prepare in advance and of course get them the good stuff get them the encyclopedia of country living you get them the preppers medical handbook you get them the doomsday book of medicine you get them nurse Amy
[00:28:43] and Joe Alton everything they wrote Jim Cobb on security all that stuff things that might not be around or might not be easy to get right these are like these this stuff that
[00:28:59] you put away until they're old enough to understand what they have right got this land you got these guns you got this wealth you got this this knowledge which is also wealth and power
[00:29:14] and then you work on them you work on them it'll fundamentally with kids it's your greatest project that's it. You know all the charity all the donating of money all whatever it is that you do to better
[00:29:35] the world that little bit of potential up there in the room right now or sleeping in the bed right now or at school right now that thing has the ability to do so much more
[00:29:54] than than any amount of money given to some agency to some nonprofit right you some money to some nonprofit some of it goes pay to CEO salary some of it goes to this to that
[00:30:05] the other thing when you set your children loose on the world that's when you can have an effect on the world we used to joke when I was younger we had this weird little packed where you
[00:30:22] have to have as many kids at least as many kids to replace yourself and your wife right if if we deemed yourself and your wife to be important people to the world right cool people
[00:30:38] if you're cool people in the world needed more of you then you have a duty to replace yourself that was a little thing that we had going on amongst my friends and look at it that way you know
[00:30:55] we know there's more problems out there than there are solutions but we also know that the people who who drive towards the solutions also have a lot of have a lot of effect
[00:31:08] and you gotta you gotta put them people out into the world it's your duty as a parent if you are a parent there's no there's no greater thing that you can do for this world you know my kid will fall out of a moving vehicle to
[00:31:22] keep himself from littering you know that's just something that you've as you establish over years and years and years from taking him to fishing holes to picking up trash to you know look
[00:31:35] this is it okay doesn't matter what they say on the news about climate change doesn't matter what they say on a podcast about mankind and what he should and shouldn't do what you do is you don't litter okay that's what you do see because what you do
[00:31:53] and what you tell your kids to do and what they learn from you is really what counts you can have a million zombies walking around throwing their throwing their wrappers in their cups on the floor
[00:32:07] telling you that climate change is real in these gas guzzling cars and this and that and the other thing and they go home and they you know whatever plastics the whole thing nobody's perfect but at the end of the day if we were as critical
[00:32:22] of ourselves as we are of others man would be one hell of a place to live if we were as critical of ourselves as we are of others and follow through particularly the young people in this nation
[00:32:38] you know you get to a certain age all you do is criticize yourself that you can't stop it you go run miles so you can forget about all the criticisms uh... so let's get into some uh... some announcements folks we have
[00:32:55] do some announcements because i don't have much left in me unfortunately uh... the show was a supposed to be about the p b n package to begin with those gonna go over the whole prepper broadcasting network thing that'll be another show for another day
[00:33:11] members members members the continuity is monday the thirty first eight p m eastern which means we will not be doing a uh... ham radio study group that day i guess eight p m eastern the continuity will be meeting with not met in some time
[00:33:31] k we may make some changes to our meeting set up many of you out there probably have never met for a continuity meeting alright and and i can't tell you much about it because it's very secretive uh...
[00:33:45] but please come join us in order to join the continuity meeting for you new members out there you have to come over to the continuity room in our e o c in element right members members if you're not in element you're missing out on basically everything
[00:34:03] so please come i mean you can get your member content at the website too but it's just way better if you do it through element at plus then you get to read all the riff raff so the continuity meets monday thirty first
[00:34:17] uh... memorial day monday the thirty first i personally am going to be participating in the murph the murph if you know you're the murph the murph is no joke uh... i don't know what happened my head
[00:34:33] but the murph is a fitness a physical fitness challenge that's pretty brutal i'm gonna try to wing it but i think i got it actually one mile run two hundred pull-ups three hundred push-ups one mile run followed by one hundred pull-ups two hundred push-ups three hundred squats
[00:35:02] and i think a mile run after that uh... a lot of people say you should do with a twenty pound weighted vest on i don't have a twenty pound weighted vest uh... maybe i'll throw the bug out back on i don't know one mile run is nothing so
[00:35:17] that's not the part that will be tough obviously if you get through the pull-ups and the push-ups and you've done it right three hundred squats you could probably do without any issue if you're in the fitness right if you're not in the fitness don't do this
[00:35:33] if you're not in the fitness you're not into prepping enough can i tell you that i don't say that to be ugly or mean i'm just telling you all this prepping and you're not you're not physically fit what's going on
[00:35:45] all this prepping and all this food and all this stuff and you're not physically fit what is happening what are we doing here so the mirth memorial day if you're interested let me know we can talk about
[00:35:57] it more if you want i don't know if you want to just something to consider because that's something that's going on in my personal life and it'll be fun it'll be a struggle but it'll be fun the mirth memorial day one mile run one hundred pull-ups
[00:36:15] two hundred push-ups three hundred squats followed by a final mile run now do i want to go into all this that's a physical fitness challenge that's what that is yeah that's a physical fitness challenge i am announcing the commanders challenge as well the commanders challenges very different
[00:36:50] there's a lot of these challenges out there right and a bunch of challenges fitness related diet related that kind of stuff uh... the commanders challenge is my attempt to get you to feel i want to get you to feel this this thing that's out there
[00:37:11] you may not be into it because it's it's i don't know well it's what i did the things that i do okay but not from just a physical fitness standpoint alright so the commanders challenges of thirty day challenge will start june first
[00:37:32] on june first those of you interested in being a part of the commanders challenge can follow me in uh... nothing outlandish really nothing outlandish and the thing about this challenge is if you miss some stuff i don't really care
[00:37:47] you don't do something once and this you know yesterday i didn't do this or whatever it's not one of these channels like you gotta start all over the beginning you was this is a feeling challenge there's some fitness in it but it's more
[00:38:06] a feeling challenges a challenge that i want you guys to uh... just go through the motions and work on the practices so that you can kind of get a feel for i don't know what what your life would be like if you did these things beyond thirty days
[00:38:27] it's not you know none of them are easy none of them are well there's a couple of them that are pretty simple actually but most of them are things that'll be new to you things that'll be new to you things that you maybe haven't done before in your
[00:38:42] life and things that again you may decide i'm not going to do or i missed that one thing yesterday but the probably the one that will be the biggest struggle will be the fasting because that's that can be tough and god knows it's not something that i do
[00:39:03] successfully all the time now i'm not talking about going days without eating personally i it's tough it's a real challenge to go days without eating you know i i don't remember the last time i fasted a day but it was pretty brutal
[00:39:20] i did recommend that we do some fasting before our next show for conflicted i thought that could be a really good time the commander's challenges four things basically each day start your day with something called sadhana sadhana is a uh... spiritual yogic practice
[00:39:46] it's not really set in stone you know that's kind of what i like about it usually some kind of breath work usually some kind of yoga usually some kind of chanting all of that sounds crazy i'd know that's what this challenge is about
[00:40:04] this challenges about getting you through the door it's not about you waking up every day going to my side of the day i don't do my side of today i'm gonna fail this guy i'm not gonna get my t-shirt maybe we'll do t-shirts i don't know but
[00:40:21] you start your day out with your sadhana and everything on here except probably the fasting in the fifty well most things on here i'll explain in a video in a detailed commander's challenge video okay i'll show you what sadhana looks like
[00:40:40] sadhana looks like what you want it to look like if you think breathing practice is silly that's the whole point of this commander's challenge okay breathing practices anything but silly it's really it's uh... i mean it's half of yoga and it's maybe the more beneficial
[00:41:06] hang on one second sorry i thought i heard the uh... i thought i heard the massacre of chickens in the backyard i was wrong thankfully so you start your day out with the sadhana you put yourself on an intermittent fasting for thirty days if you don't
[00:41:30] then you don't most of the thirty days try out intermittent fasting if you've never done it before what does intermittent fasting look like a lot of people say uh... what is it eighteen and six or something like that sixteen and eight that's it sixteen and eight
[00:41:47] something along those lines what i do i usually try to stop eating at six and then i start eating at ten that's usually my goal doesn't always work that way but you know what i also don't go into a vast depression if i eat breakfast at eight or
[00:42:06] you know what i mean nine or if i eat a late meal not about executing i'm not looking for a body transformation with this thing i want you to experience sadhana in the morning i want you to experience intermittent fasting and what that can do for your body
[00:42:31] what it can do for your mind would be due to performance the whole thing then we're going to institute the something i call the fifty okay the fifties of fitness insurance program that's where the what the reason i built it and it's really simple it's fitness insurance
[00:42:50] okay it's two fifty of anything today if you do fifty of anything then you're in business don't look at it as your workout this is not your workout if you work out that's fine to the fifty also
[00:43:06] uh... if you're in the fitness already the fifty can be two to three exercises right doesn't have to be one exercise yeah i like the fifty you know because if you're feeling beat like i am fifty sit-ups fifty crunches fifty squats fifty jumping jacks whatever it is
[00:43:29] uh... if you wake up feeling like a beast fifty pull ups you know we do fifty push-ups fifty sit-ups fifty squats whatever you can you can tie them together you know but if you beat just do one thing to fifty jumping jacks is what it is
[00:43:46] it's not to replace a workout it's insurance it's uh... mandate got out of hand fast and i didn't make it to the gym i did the fifty and final piece of the commanders challenges something i call the gratitude prayer and
[00:44:05] it's a big help if you deal them insomnia i don't um... but it's really just a list i don't pray the way most people pray to god you know i don't know the prayers very well but what i found that really works for me is to
[00:44:25] sit down and list everything and grateful for thank god for everything you know from the smallest thing to the biggest thing from the pillow under my head to the toast for tomorrow morning to my wife to my kids to the coffee to the
[00:44:44] client base that i have to the great listeners here at the prep of broadcasting networks to the you know to the breeze coming in through the window to the all of it and just freestyle listed all off you'll get through most
[00:45:00] no you won't get the most you get through a few things and then you'll pass out uh... so it's a great gratitude enhancer it's a great prayer it's a great means of falling asleep each night to you know in a real positive way you
[00:45:13] know rather than laying there like tossing in turn i pay this got to do that i apologize to her mess this up i got to that fixed is when i get up first thing about
[00:45:22] you know and then before you know it's two o'clock in the morning and you're watching uh... uh... the kill count on your favorite horror movie uh... eating a bowl cinnamon toast crunch type of thing to avoid that you end your day with a gratitude prayer
[00:45:41] so again said that sadhana start today intermittent fasting i don't care how you do it the fifty each day and then with the gratitude prayer and that's the commander's challenge for thirty days jump on board
[00:45:56] june first it starts will talk more about it but one to introduce you to it uh... i think that might be a pvm family told you be a short show not a not a bunch roasted in toasted man work has been so good lately i'd just

[00:47:43] uh... i still got so much more to do it's unbelievable the mountain that i have to scale before i get to lay down to a gratitude prayer but look get involved okay that doesn't mean give me your money and become a member
[00:47:57] what it means is getting involved in pbm dig in you know dig your teeth sink your teeth into this thing if you're listening to the podcast in a car uh... thank you first and foremost thank you very much for your patronage that's huge
[00:48:13] you know a lot of doing this thing is just about validity sometimes sometimes is about the leady it's about knowing somebody's out there listening taking action and whenever we meet people man god it's such a blessing to meet people say i've been listening
[00:48:27] and uh... i've done this this and this and we've got this and we're prepared for that it's just not so but if you just listening to podcasts at pbn you merely scratching the surface there's there's nine people here who make shows you can have
[00:48:45] much more conversations with those people you can really get to know what they're up to uh... you can dig in even deeper into our community over the emergency operation center which you can join by getting a screen name at element dot i o
[00:49:03] you go to element dot i you get a screening you get to screen name you get to join our front and back and encrypted sort of chat rooms uh... that we had to really just figure out on our own because we got booted off of uh...

[00:50:01] you know you'll be like oh my god i can't but i'm gonna do this every year and uh... you may come for the podcast but you'll stay for the community because prepping is not this uh... touch-and-go thing
[00:50:18] i thought it was a touch-and-go sort of thing i thought it was you show up you inhale the knowledge that you need to inhale from the right people you go back to your world and then you finagle it into the to a place where you feel comfortable right
[00:50:33] it's not the case you know this is really not the case prepping is it's big okay the the the neo homesteading movement the preparedness movement uh... the sort of the the bushcraft movement these things are pushing humanity back to homeostasis i really do believe that honestly believe that
[00:51:04] where we are right now is totally out of balance totally out of whack that's why we're shooting ourselves and hang ourselves taking pills every day but i do think preppers survivalists bushcraft instructors homesteaders chicken keepers you know you are i do believe that you're
[00:51:26] you're writing the ship you're turning the wheel to put the ship back the way it should be and uh... ever grateful will talk soon pvn family stein liberty show thank you for listening to the prepper broadcasting network we promote self-reliance
