Society in every state is a blessing. A government, even in its best state, is but a necessary evil. The future has already arrived. Oh, it's good to be on an audio podcast, PBN Family and a little Cold and Richmond this morning. I hope things didn't freeze the Jones Homestead over. I hope you heard last night showing the park Link, amongst many other things. So much opportunity at PBN right now for the average person, the average American, so many solutions, so many opportunities. Guys, you know it got I'm really seeing the matrix in twenty twenty six. I think it's God's fault. To be honest with you, I got a show for you today about the prepper primer. Okay about watch all this sort of unfolded in the straight of horror moves and hearing that word you you forget what a primer education you have as a prepper. You take it for granted, you know what I mean? And I think people from the outside looking in have no idea of sort of the uh, the sort of peripheral education that you get as a prepper if you get embedded in the prepping community, right, I mean, stop for a minute, this. This really occurred to me because I saw an article this morning that was, you know, like, what's the big deal with the straight of hor moves right? And it occurred to me like, people don't know. People do not have this level of I mean it just does. It sounds snobbish, but they don't have this level of education on certain certain like flash points across the country and the world. And as you get into the prepping world, you are intent on learning things, right, your intent on learning about threats, your intent on learning about resources, and you know how to manage your water and how to grow food and how to deal with threats and what happens without you without me knowing it. What happened to me without me knowing it was that I was getting an education on geological, regional, geopolitical, you know, the whole thing, Like this is even astronomical, is that right? Astrological information that I just never learned in school. Historical of course, that I never learned in school, and that I likely would never learn period had I not gotten into prepics. And when big world events kick off like this in places like the Middle East or China or Taiwan or things happened like a pandemic soul or flare, those kind of things. You realize, whoa like I already took this class. I already you know what I mean. I have the prerequisite course for where we're at right now on the planet Earth. And it's all thanks to you know, reading prepper articles, listening to prepper podcasts, talking to other preppers about things like this. You know, like, we have long understood that eventually there was more than likely going to be a situation in the Strait of Hormuz. We not only knew where it was, we knew what the situation with it was, and we knew that it would undoubtedly affect the price of gas. Right, And when you talk about preppers storing up gas, like, there's there's a bunch of reasons why we do that, Right, We do that not just because of the Strait, but we do it because of the Middle East. We do it because of shortages, we do it because of hackers, we do it because of potential for warfare, we do it because of God, oh he knows what else. And I guess, you know, I don't know how I'm doing so much of this outside looking in stuff lately. I think because you know, from twenty eighteen on I told you, guys that prepping and whatever whatever spins off of prepping back in twenty eighteen, I told you it's going to be a historical movement that really changes humanity's course. And it's because we were sort of thigh deep in the digital takeover at the time, and I could tell that that didn't have the legs. As addictive as it is, as fun as it is, as heart pounding as it is, it just doesn't have the depth. And I don't think it'll ever have the depth of the real human experience, right. I just published something on my subse I don't know if you guys know I even write on substack, but I write on substacked under the Intrepid Commander. Man. It's not hardly ever Prepper related, right. It's me being a writer. It's me really writing, opening sort of the ink well of my soul and letting it spill out in whatever form and fashion. I got so many callings and so many you know, things that I like to write about. But one of the things that really is hugging at my soul lately is the condition of men on the face of the earth. Right, the force of the life of mortal men on this earth, as it's put in Rugby Chapel, one of the greatest poems ever written for men, and it is in my book Poems for Men. You know what I mean? I don't know. Don't get me started on the poetry thing. Okay, men need poetry in their life. Humans need poetry in their life. Great art, great poetry, great literature. Need. It's not a want, it's not a desire, it's not a I'll never forget. I don't know why this sticks with me, but I released Poems for Men. You know, I'm doing my social media thing and telling people about it and talking about it, and I just remember, like when I don't hold anything against this one comment, it is completely under Like when you publish a book called Poems for Men, it's like, you know what's coming, right. I had no fantasies that it was going to be met with grand flaws from all men. But I got one particular comment on one particular I don't know when the post was or anything like that, but the comment was sounds like quite the bore bro And for some reason that stuck with me, and it it didn't stick with me because it was like Ooh, you think my book's boring. That's mean. Like I believe that a lot of people who hear a book called Poems from Men go that's probably pretty fucking boring, right, fine, fair enough. But there was something about it that that made me. It's stuck with me and it made me want to What it made me want to do is he's like, you should read this, just read like these four lines. Just think about your life and read these four lines, or read these two lines, or read this. Stanza, or read just it wanted. It made me want to argue, not not for my own uh you know, not to prove my point that my book is necessary or that this book is great, right, but to sort of give that guy one more chance, like like, dude, just get give poetry one more chance, man, I'm. Telling you, right. So I do a lot of that, expounding on sort of men's issues and even just the human condition over there on sub stack, because it has to come out of me. I don't know how to explain it. It seeps out of me like oil on the surface of the California. Whatever's right. I just it's one of those things. It just has to come out of me. I've been doing a series called How to Be Happy as a Man on Earth, And it's just like an absolute basic level basics of basics, right, And that's the whole purpose. The whole purpose is to remind men and people at large. But you know, I don't know for something, for something, there's something calling out to me to speak directly to men right now. How to enjoy life as a man on Earth is what it is, right, how to enjoy life as a man on Earth? And I mean fundamentally what we're doing, what we've done too, right, We've done How to Enjoy Life is a Man on Earth? Part one, which was about the seasons and how to Enjoy Life is a Man on Earth? Part two was about the sunset and the sunrise. And it really is like in the Age of so much, really just the age of so much. That's what we're in. We're in the age of so much, so much good, so much bad, so much this, so much of that, so much food, so much hunger, so much right, So it's just the age of so much. It's a reminder to men who I know, like the life of a man has never felt more transaction. I don't think you know what I mean. And it's reinforced by all kinds of sort of manosphere guys and and also like whiney depressed guys who want you to believe that there's nothing out there for you if you're not six six and make a million dollars a year or whatever. You know what I mean, Like the world is forgotten but he doesn't care about you. No, you're it's well. Rather than go on that tangent, this whole series is built around the many magical things that are literally free. And we may go up in cost and price of time and actual dollars as the series continues, but I want to start out and really drag out sort of the momentous things about life that happen constantly that are completely free, not just to men, but to everyone who walks the face of this planet. And that's what this series is all about right now, Like how to enjoy life. It's a man on Earth. I don't know if that resonates with you. I you know, I'm I'm just talking because it's my show. So the sunrise, the sunset happens. You know, you get two pieces of artwork each in every day that are breathtaching, And I do feel I feel these things myself, you know. I run to the windows, I run out to the front porch with the mug of coffee in the morning to see the sky start to change, because it has a profound effect on you in this digital age. But all the way back in twenty eighteen, I knew for sure that the prepping world was going to is sort of infect humanity at large and probably mutate a little bit for good. For the good. Right, Prepper Camp is a great place to sort of really gather together all the ideas that prepping has been. You really get sort of a feel for what prepping has become when you go to prepper camp because you see all the different class and all the different speakers and stuff, and like, oh, this this really is like a big thing, you know what I mean, Like this is a big movement, man. And then it really has one goal. Right. There was a time when prepping had this weird goal of like make sure you're prepared for everything bad that could happen. But now it really is like how do you manage life on Earth? The age of the age of so much? How do you manage it? You know? And it's this is. Just what it is, right, now getting back to the prepper primer, like, I don't know if this is necessary. I don't know if this is a necessary life thing, but I'll tell you it's it's nice to be sitting in that sort of informed zone, right, We be sitting in that informed zone where people can say things. And I don't understand what it's like out there on the outskirts, right where you have to go from zero to a thousand. Right, If you wake up and you find out that you've never paid attention to Iranian nuclear capabilities the way a prepper has, right, you've never paid any attention to the what are they the twelvers? Is that what they're called, the twelvers, the lunatics, Mullahs who want to bring about the end of the world. If you've never heard about any of this stuff, right, you see, I've been so marinated in it over all these years. But if I try to put myself in the perspective of the average Americans, you've never heard about this stuff. You look at Iran and you think it's like, you know, it's like Iraq or something I don't know, someplace over there, and then all of a sudden you're at war with the nation that has nuclear weapons or is nuclear capable or wants to be nuclear capable. They hate you. They've called you the Great Satan and Israel the little Great Satan, or whatever the situation is. And they're bent on your destruction even though you don't even know them. And then all of a sudden you also find out that, oh, and these lunatics run all the sponsor sponsor all the terrorists in the region. They send them money, they send them rockets. Oh and they also control one of the main thoroughfares for. Oil in the world. And all you're hit with all of this, and if you're not prepared on top of it, like this is what I want people to avoid because in the age of so much you also have access to so much information, you can also get kicked in the nuts with so much shock. It's like never before, you know what I mean, never before could you be hit so hard in this Iranian situation is one example. What if you told me I'd have to learn about the Strait of Hormuz in order to be a prepper, I probably wouldn't become a prepper. So it's it's not that I was hungry for geopolitical information, or you know, geographical information and threats. It was that these were things that I learned on the path as a prepper, and it is a part of being a prepper, a part of being because because what happens when you don't know this information. You get the other P word, right, You get panic? Oh my god, I can't honey, the strait of Hormuz is closed. It's closing. That means gas is going to go up to fifty dollars a gallon, food's gonna go up, or everything's we have no power. We must walk into the Kroger every week and just get down on our hands and knees and pray that we can make it out of there with a blow of bread and a right a milk. There are a lot of people in that position, man, A lot of people in that position. That's a scary damn position to be in. So I don't know, I just from my perspective to you, I just want you to understand sort of the privileged position you're in. I'm not saying it's your duty to recruit. I'm not saying it's your duty to educate. I'm just saying there is a formula here that works for the modern human right, it's the formula of action and intelligence, right, and action and information and you know, really just mitigating what is the modern age, mitigating the stresses and the fears and the paranoia of the modern age. And and how do you truly improve the life of the average American in this world today? How do you improve it? I mean, look at all the metrics, right, how do you improve the life the average American today? Would it be money? And it depends on the American, right, doesn't it. There are plenty of Americans you drop an extra you know, fifty to one hundred grand in their bank account every year, and guess what They're going to improve their damn life in big ways. And there's a bunch of Americans who are gonna probably wind up in jail, wind up bed, wind up deeper in addiction with that kind of money, you know. But there are things in the prepping world, particularly the gardening and the raising of animals and improving your nutrition and physical fitness right, and your diet and so on, and the real, very real satisfaction of going outside and like growing things, plucking from the land, even little bits of land, or even from pots. The food that you grew yourself bringing it into the home. In the age of knowing so much, the age of so much, knowing so much about what's in the food, on the food, in the DNA of the food, the vaccinated food, whatever the situation is. In the age of so much, it's one of these six situations where you can feel like I can really making a difference here. I am really having an effect here, because all of the sudden we are in control of what's going into our bodies. At the very least, it doesn't mean it's you know, I don't know. I don't want to downplay it. I really don't want to downplay prepping at homesteading. In this modern age, with so many people addicted to phones and screens, your ability to venture out into the wilds of the world and see it for what it is. Man, there's how do you put a dollar value on that? How do you put a dollar But I had a camping trip. I'm supposed to have a camping trip this weekend, I think. But I had one in January with my oldest son and we were sitting on a bench looking down at Paris, Virginia from massive elevation, and I said to him man, you can you can just do this like this could be your life. You can do this every weekend. You can travel this country. There are millions of acres that are free to Rome. You just travel this nation and see these things every weekend if you want. This can be a whole You can make a whole, entire life out of this. And I remember just thinking to myself, like, what is the value of that moment? Truly? Like what would you what would you pay for that moment? What would someone have to pay me for that moment to disappear? I remember I talked to you last week about the changing value of everything. There has never been a more important time for you to get your values in order. There has never been a more important time and a more precarious time to figure out what truly matters to you. Really you think you know, I mean a lot of people think they know. I know what matters to me. Okay, it's my four oh one K. I'm serious, man, I'm serious. Consult the elders. You know, the elders in my life have changed my direction many times. The ones that are you know, intimately interwoven in my life and the ones that I just talk to in passing one day at a store. Right, listen to the old people. Listen to the old people when they tell you what they regret, and listen to the old people when they tell you what they loved about life, because you're listening to a guy who changed his entire life off of that advice. And listen, Ih, it didn't go the way I thought it would in many ways. But I wouldn't change anything, man, not a thing. You know. I couldn't even fathom changing a thing a moment. There is no job that exists, right that would have been better for me than being the intrepid commander at PBN and freelance writing in the prepping and survival world for the last ten years of my life. And that's because my fourteen year old was four, right, my youngest was just born. And over the last decade we've been together so much. Man, We've done so many things. We've explored so many things, like like, there is nothing on the earth or in heaven or in hell that will ever compare to that. And you have to understand, like that's a I've done the thing that I said I wanted to do. I've put the bow on it, and now it's all gravy and cherry on top. Because I told you all those years ago, many of you who listened to me all those years ago, I said, I think you get about ten years. I think you get about ten years where your kids are really sort of dialed in with you. Now. I've been wrong a lot, Okay, I've been wrong a lot about the hard cutoffs in life. Okay, But I think it's good to be wrong, and better to proceed with caution, and better to eat up that time with your kids when you have it, you know. I mean, even if you can just take just the benefit of being able to take your kids to and from school is pretty huge. It's pretty huge. That's pretty valuable in and of itself. But the summers and the breaks and all that kind of stuff, and you know that you're just you got to get your values in order. If you're planning on surviving America, You've got to look at the old world and say, is this is this the way I want it? Is this what matters to me? Is this it? You know, we've been convinced for a long time to put our heads down and work and to look up for retirement. And you know what, I always think of When I think of that, I think of people with their heads down with pickaxes, right. And look, I work plenty hours, you know what I mean. It's not like I'm over here not working. It's just it's a different kind of work because I don't hate every second of it. I don't hate everyone around me while I'm at work, and I don't hate going there, and I don't hate my boss, and I don't you know what I mean. I'm lucky that my passion can be profitable, to be honest. But anyway, I picture like a population of people with pickaxes right, just milling about for forty fifty years, and then they're making believe that life exists after retirement, right, and it would be done with all this work. And I'm really gonna enjoy myself. And then some people, man, they look up and they're sixty five years old, and then they're dead at sixty six, sixty eight, or they don't even make it to sixty five. You drop dead in the office that you dreamed about leaving one day again. Some people love it. Some people love it. Get up, get out, go do thing right, make the money, do the thing. Nothing wrong with it. If you love it. But you better, you better do a QA on your life, you know what I mean. Make sure you're surviving America the way you want to. So we have an incredible lineup at PBN today, I mean amazing, right, I'm talking about Sarah hath The Way of the Changing Earth and Survivor Jane Okay, Rick Austin's wife, Survivor Jane Food Preservation for Women's Wednesday. Women's Wednesday has been phenomenal. I had no idea the boon of content we had in the archives of women guests, women hosts just doing amazing shows. One of the best days we've added ever. We got the pock Link radio show from last night if you haven't heard it, obviously, Surviving Americ Eca Church and State is all about the importance of Christian unity. Today it's gonna be a great show and we have our latest from the am Old Time Radio Show. I was a communist for the FBI. I don't know. I plug in as deeply as you can to the proper Broadcasting Network. Seriously, find us on Instagram, on x listen to the podcasts like really dig In, sign up for the newsletter. This is the motivation man, and it's coming from more than one person. It's many people, many hosts doing great things, hosts from the past, espousing information that has long been forgotten. Right. I think about the people I mentioned at the beginning of the show who have and this might be you. You know, you might be listening here, you might be thinking to yourself, this is me. But I think about these people and who are facing this world of so much right, the AI and now they're putting a data center in and Donald Trump's going to war and their you know, ice is throwing people out of the dation. But there's also people in the nation who are getting let out of prison and killing people for the fifteenth time. It's all crazy, right, And I think about those people with that learning curve, both in world affairs and political affairs, but also the learning curve and preparedness and real fortification of your life, right, real fortification of your life. And it makes me wonder, like, how like how much of a safety net can we weave here at PBN for people so that should they happen upon the network, they can really dig in and listen and in a few weeks months time, they can be like I think, I think I can do this I think I can. I think I can build out this path back to stability. That's really what I want. At the end of the day, you know, it's really what I want, and we have all the firepower necessary to pull it off. Now, we do get political from time to time, we have political views. Truth here at PBN is the most important thing to me of all. Why is that because I'd rather you hate the host but know that they're telling you what they believe, then like the host and not really know where they stand on things, and not really know if what you're hearing is legitimate, if it's real, if it's you know, if they're doing it, they're talking it to sell a product, they're talking it to sell a podcast, a concept, whatever. Like I could, I much less care about how you feel about me personally than how you feel about you know, me giving you the real deal. Like you going, oh, this is the Intrepid Commander guy. He's a little he's a little too right wing for me, but at least I know where he stands. It's much more valuable to know where a person truly stands. One of the scariest things about the left wing in the nation is we don't really know where they stand. Right, That's to me the most terrifying thing. You look at a person on the left and they were go, you know, like I want abortions and I want you know, open borders and all people are free and all science is right. And you're going like, I really don't understand what you really are throwing your hat in for. And I don't know if you're doing this because you've been paid. I don't know if you're doing this because your buddies are doing it. I don't know if you have convictions here. I don't know what your end game is, right, And that's kind of the scariest part about it. They get very impassioned and very loud and very crazy and sometimes even violent, and you look at him and you're just written it. You know, no, tell me more about you, like what are? What are you? Who are? You don't tell me about your cause? Right? I hope you enjoyed the show, folks, little meandering, a little talk about the Prepper primer and an understanding that we have a whole host of incredible, incredible information. Uh.
