[00:00:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Welcome to the Gunmetal Armory. Here's your host, Dane D.
[00:00:08] [SPEAKER_01]: Hey, what's up everybody? How's it going Team Gunmetal?
[00:00:12] [SPEAKER_01]: It's been a minute since I've been here.
[00:00:15] [SPEAKER_01]: We've had a lot of crazy things happening on the Homestead lately and ideally we will have a
[00:00:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Dream Rock Homestead episode coming up soon.
[00:00:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Just to update everybody and kind of let you guys know what's going on.
[00:00:28] [SPEAKER_01]: We have gotten some new audio equipment that is going to be helpful in recording shows for you guys
[00:00:36] [SPEAKER_01]: and actually putting out a better product.
[00:00:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Most of the time when I come home from work, that's when I do my little quick podcast for you guys
[00:00:46] [SPEAKER_01]: to kind of give you a quick shot of information and basically as much intel as I can in a short amount of time.
[00:00:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Generally that provides me with a little bit of something to kind of help you guys out.
[00:01:02] [SPEAKER_01]: A couple things I want to tell you, in the fiscal year of 2024 so far, if you don't know what fiscal year is,
[00:01:12] [SPEAKER_01]: just look it up, but in the fiscal year of 2024 so far we have seen no less than 20,000 Chinese nationals coming into the country.
[00:01:23] [SPEAKER_01]: During fiscal year 2023 we saw something to the tune of 24,000 Chinese nationals.
[00:01:30] [SPEAKER_01]: So they basically ramped it up to triple or quadruple the amount of Chinese nationals coming into this country.
[00:01:39] [SPEAKER_01]: At this rate we've got 24,000 from last year and if it keeps going at the rate that's going right now,
[00:01:50] [SPEAKER_01]: we're looking at roughly another 80 to 100,000 probably more like 80,000 in this fiscal year.
[00:02:01] [SPEAKER_01]: What do you think 100,000 highly motivated people who hate America could do to it?
[00:02:11] [SPEAKER_01]: What do you guys think? Honestly tell me.
[00:02:14] [SPEAKER_01]: If you don't believe me just look up the numbers. It's 100% true.
[00:02:18] [SPEAKER_01]: You need to be preparing for all kinds of crap to happen all around you.
[00:02:22] [SPEAKER_01]: If you don't think for a moment that people who hate America and want to see it fall wouldn't attack it from the inside,
[00:02:31] [SPEAKER_01]: you're out of your mind.
[00:02:33] [SPEAKER_01]: So I hate to use the old moniker but if you see something say something.
[00:02:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Start preparing yourself. Start carrying your weapon, a truck gun, a concealed weapon, CCW, whatever.
[00:02:49] [SPEAKER_01]: You don't know where this is going to happen and when this is going to happen.
[00:02:53] [SPEAKER_01]: You need to be prepared for that.
[00:02:55] [SPEAKER_01]: The next thing I want to tell you guys about and we will go over more stuff when it comes to the attacks that are going to be happening.
[00:03:03] [SPEAKER_01]: I have no idea what's going to happen but the attacks that likely could happen on our soil.
[00:03:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Just judging by the people that are here and potentially why they're here.
[00:03:16] [SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't make any sense any other way. This is not just illegal immigration.
[00:03:20] [SPEAKER_01]: There's something else happening guys. Something's coming.
[00:03:22] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what everybody can feel. Everybody knows something's coming so just pay attention.
[00:03:29] [SPEAKER_01]: The next thing I want to talk to you guys about is combat power in the elements of combat power.
[00:03:35] [SPEAKER_01]: These are war fighting functions and all of these war fighting functions are tied together by leadership.
[00:03:42] [SPEAKER_01]: The one thing, leadership or what you might call an intrepid commander.
[00:03:47] [SPEAKER_01]: James, good one. I don't know if you're going to hear this but it's pretty funny if you do.
[00:03:52] [SPEAKER_01]: The elements of war fighting. The elements of combat power.
[00:03:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Leadership controls all of them. Those elements are intelligence, protection, command and control, sustainment, movement and maneuver and fire support.
[00:04:09] [SPEAKER_01]: They all come into play.
[00:04:11] [SPEAKER_01]: The two that really have my brain going, what's up with that man?
[00:04:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Is the protection and sustainment.
[00:04:21] [SPEAKER_01]: One thing that my wife just reminded me of too is back to the Chinese and the people that are coming in here that want to actually harm America.
[00:04:31] [SPEAKER_01]: It is not just the southern border.
[00:04:33] [SPEAKER_01]: She just reminded me Vermont and who knows where else.
[00:04:36] [SPEAKER_01]: They are coming in through the northern border as well.
[00:04:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Even during the winter, even in snowstorms it doesn't matter.
[00:04:43] [SPEAKER_01]: The northern border is freaking wide open right now guys because they don't think it could be penetrated.
[00:04:49] [SPEAKER_01]: You remember when Hannibal penetrated freaking Rome?
[00:04:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Remember when Hannibal got across the Alps he lost a whole bunch of people but it didn't freaking matter because he was there.
[00:04:58] [SPEAKER_01]: He was somewhere they didn't expect him to be guys.
[00:05:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay seriously please start paying attention.
[00:05:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay back to what I was saying.
[00:05:07] [SPEAKER_01]: The elements of combat power, war fighting functions.
[00:05:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Are you ready?
[00:05:10] [SPEAKER_01]: The two that have my eyes popped up are protection and sustainment.
[00:05:15] [SPEAKER_01]: The most important one in my opinion to keep any army fighting is sustainment.
[00:05:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Whether it's a small militia or whether it's a small group, a mag or any kind of group of people that are all around you that want to help you and you all want to help each other.
[00:05:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Your little neighborhood watch whatever it is sustainment.
[00:05:37] [SPEAKER_01]: You're going to have vehicles, you're going to have a weaponry, you're going to have medical, you're going to have all these different things that need to be taken care of.
[00:05:48] [SPEAKER_01]: So sustainment, let's talk about that for a second.
[00:05:50] [SPEAKER_01]: The sustainment war fighting function involves any related tasks and systems that provide support and services to ensure freedom of action, extended operational reach and prolonged endurance.
[00:06:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay sustainment includes tasks that are associated with things like related general engineering, band support, religious support.
[00:06:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Imagine that, religious support right?
[00:06:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Health services support, financial management, human resources, explosive ordinance disposal, field services, supply, transportation and maintenance.
[00:06:26] [SPEAKER_01]: If you think for a minute that you're going to fight a war without all those things, you're out of your mind.
[00:06:30] [SPEAKER_01]: You need all of them and some of them you may take, oh what do I need health services support for?
[00:06:35] [SPEAKER_01]: It's freaking medical, trust me, you're going to need it.
[00:06:38] [SPEAKER_01]: What do I need religious support for?
[00:06:41] [SPEAKER_01]: That's morale guys.
[00:06:43] [SPEAKER_01]: If your soldiers don't want to fight, they might as not well fight because they're not going to.
[00:06:48] [SPEAKER_01]: You understand what I'm saying? Morale is everything.
[00:06:51] [SPEAKER_01]: If you don't understand that, watch the the Grantham video where he talks to those guys that have just come back from the Ukraine front lines.
[00:06:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Watch any of those videos where soldiers from the Ukraine are saying like we need to be relieved.
[00:07:05] [SPEAKER_01]: We can't keep doing this.
[00:07:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Trust me it's very important.
[00:07:09] [SPEAKER_01]: The next thing, protection.
[00:07:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Sustainment being able to keep an army moving and fighting whether it's a militia or it's a state guard or it's a mag or it's a neighborhood watch or whatever it is.
[00:07:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Be able to keep them moving and keep them sustained.
[00:07:22] [SPEAKER_01]: The next thing is protection.
[00:07:25] [SPEAKER_01]: The protection of the war fighting function or the elements of combat power.
[00:07:31] [SPEAKER_01]: You're protecting the war fighting functions.
[00:07:34] [SPEAKER_01]: That involves the related tasks and systems that preserve the force so the commander can apply maximum combat power.
[00:07:42] [SPEAKER_01]: You've got to preserve that ability.
[00:07:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Preserving the force includes protecting personnel which would be combatant and noncombatant.
[00:07:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Keep in mind any kind of group is always going to have combatants and noncombatants.
[00:07:56] [SPEAKER_01]: You're going to have guys that do maintenance on vehicles and you're going to have guys that drive those vehicles and shoot things up.
[00:08:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Makes sense.
[00:08:05] [SPEAKER_01]: You should have just seen my wife.
[00:08:08] [SPEAKER_01]: You're also going to have preserving the force.
[00:08:12] [SPEAKER_01]: It will also include things like physical assets, information of the United States and multinational partners.
[00:08:18] [SPEAKER_01]: There are a lot of tasks that are included in protecting the war fighting function.
[00:08:23] [SPEAKER_01]: That would be safety, survivability, fratricide avoidance.
[00:08:27] [SPEAKER_01]: That is a big one guys making sure you don't hurt each other.
[00:08:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Air and missile defense, anti-terrorism, counter proliferation and consequence management.
[00:08:37] [SPEAKER_01]: These are actions that are associated with chemical biological, radiological nuclear and high yield explosive weapons.
[00:08:46] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a counter proliferation.
[00:08:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Consequence management of all of these types of things.
[00:08:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Anything that can happen.
[00:08:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Defensive information operations and force health protection.
[00:08:59] [SPEAKER_01]: How are you going to protect your force?
[00:09:02] [SPEAKER_01]: You've got to have that in mind.
[00:09:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Keeping all this stuff in mind, we also have the other side of things.
[00:09:11] [SPEAKER_01]: We just talked about protection and sustainment but we also have command and control.
[00:09:15] [SPEAKER_01]: We have intelligence, we have movement and maneuver and we have one of my personal favorites, fire support.
[00:09:21] [SPEAKER_01]: That was funny.
[00:09:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Anyways, let's think about intelligence for a second.
[00:09:27] [SPEAKER_01]: The intelligence war fighting function will involve tasks and systems that facilitate understanding of the enemy.
[00:09:35] [SPEAKER_01]: The weather, civilian considerations, terrain, what is that?
[00:09:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Met T.C.
[00:09:40] [SPEAKER_01]: It might as well be met T.C., mission, enemy, terrain, so on and so forth.
[00:09:48] [SPEAKER_01]: The intelligence will actually include tasks that are associated with surveillance, reconnaissance, things of that nature.
[00:09:57] [SPEAKER_01]: The intelligence war fighting function also combines a flexible and adjustable architecture of procedures, personnel, organizations and equipment to provide commanders with relevant information and products related to an area's threat.
[00:10:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Civilian population and environment.
[00:10:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Keep in mind, whenever any type of military goes into an area, they need to know what they're dealing with.
[00:10:25] [SPEAKER_01]: They need to know what the civilian considerations are.
[00:10:27] [SPEAKER_01]: They need to know what the infrastructure is.
[00:10:28] [SPEAKER_01]: They need to know all of these different things.
[00:10:32] [SPEAKER_01]: It is absolutely imperative that you know this stuff first.
[00:10:36] [SPEAKER_01]: What is that?
[00:10:37] [SPEAKER_01]: It's an area study.
[00:10:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Don't know what an area study is.
[00:10:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Check out Forward Observer.
[00:10:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Look at his videos online on how to do that.
[00:10:47] [SPEAKER_01]: If you want a really detailed way to know how to do an area study, check out forwardobserver.com.
[00:10:55] [SPEAKER_01]: He will actually take you guys through how to do all of that stuff.
[00:10:58] [SPEAKER_01]: It's very important that you have an area study for the place that you live and you get good at updating it.
[00:11:06] [SPEAKER_01]: When I put together an area study for my brother, when he was living down in Phoenix,
[00:11:10] [SPEAKER_01]: I put it together so he was actually able to escape from Phoenix six different routes.
[00:11:17] [SPEAKER_01]: I gave him six different routes to be able to get out of there.
[00:11:21] [SPEAKER_01]: It is absolutely imperative that you guys understand that this stuff is no joke
[00:11:28] [SPEAKER_01]: and it's getting more and more of no joke.
[00:11:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Lastly, I'd like to talk to you guys about one of my favorite companies real quick,
[00:11:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Shomertek.
[00:11:38] [SPEAKER_01]: S-H-O-M-E-R-T-E-C. Check them out guys.
[00:11:43] [SPEAKER_01]: I've been playing with their titanium lockpick set lately
[00:11:45] [SPEAKER_01]: and another thing that I've installed on all of my stuff that I wear outside when I go hunting
[00:11:52] [SPEAKER_01]: or whenever I'm doing any kind of rifle practice or anything like that.
[00:11:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Almost all of my gear has their escape and evasion compass button on it.
[00:12:02] [SPEAKER_01]: They also make a fire starter button and a magnesium button.
[00:12:06] [SPEAKER_01]: I have them all over my gear guys.
[00:12:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Any kind of BBUs or anything like that you have, you can sew them right in.
[00:12:13] [SPEAKER_01]: It is so freaking useful guys.
[00:12:15] [SPEAKER_01]: I cannot tell you how useful this stuff is.
[00:12:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Now keep in mind that the compass button, you're going to need to remove it to use it.
[00:12:24] [SPEAKER_01]: That's something to keep in mind.
[00:12:26] [SPEAKER_01]: You're going to need to remove it to use it.
[00:12:29] [SPEAKER_01]: So sew it onto something like a cargo pocket or something like that.
[00:12:36] [SPEAKER_01]: So you can take it off and use it as needed.
[00:12:40] [SPEAKER_01]: The next thing you'll want to keep in...
[00:12:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, I mean pretty much all of them need to be removed to be used,
[00:12:45] [SPEAKER_01]: but that's not a bad thing.
[00:12:47] [SPEAKER_01]: That just makes it to where, okay, I need to know strategically
[00:12:50] [SPEAKER_01]: where I'm going to put these things.
[00:12:53] [SPEAKER_01]: So just keep that in mind when you get them.
[00:12:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Go over to showmertech.com, pick them up.
[00:12:58] [SPEAKER_01]: You guys will definitely love it.
[00:12:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Showmer-tech.com, TEC.
[00:13:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Another couple of things you guys can look at from them.
[00:13:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Some of their fire sticks, those things are freaking amazing.
[00:13:08] [SPEAKER_01]: And they have these food procurement kits.
[00:13:10] [SPEAKER_01]: They're some of my favorite items.
[00:13:13] [SPEAKER_01]: The last thing I'll tell you to take a look at from them.
[00:13:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Of course I'll have more products to talk with you guys about with them.
[00:13:20] [SPEAKER_01]: The last product that I really, really like that they have is their tripwire system.
[00:13:27] [SPEAKER_01]: They have these trip alarms that you can buy at Showmer-tech that use a...
[00:13:34] [SPEAKER_01]: I believe it's a 209 primer from a shotgun, like shotgun primers.
[00:13:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Or some of them can actually use a cut down shotgun shell.
[00:13:42] [SPEAKER_01]: You know, and they have flashbangs and things like that that they can put in there.
[00:13:45] [SPEAKER_01]: But most of the ones that Showmer-tech sells are great to use because all they need is a primer.
[00:13:51] [SPEAKER_01]: You pop a primer in there, you set the tripwire across like your front door outside.
[00:13:56] [SPEAKER_01]: You know, at your garden if you've got problems with pests or anything like that.
[00:13:59] [SPEAKER_01]: And bang! You're good to go man.
[00:14:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Like that thing's going to scare off the pest most likely.
[00:14:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Or if you're out camping it's going to give you plenty of time to know
[00:14:07] [SPEAKER_01]: hey something's getting close to me or someone is getting close to me.
[00:14:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay? So keep that stuff in mind guys.
[00:14:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Go check them out.
[00:14:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Showmer-tech.com.
[00:14:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Have fun.
[00:14:17] [SPEAKER_01]: I will see you guys next time as we go deeper inside the elements of combat power
[00:14:22] [SPEAKER_01]: and war fighting functions of the Gun Metal Armory.
[00:14:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Good night everyone.
