[00:00:01] Hello and welcome back to the Changing Earth Podcast. This is episode number 470 and we are into season 16. I can't believe 470 episodes of the Changing Earth Podcast. Wow, it's been a long journey. So with us tonight, we finally got Chin back. Hey Chin, what's up?

[00:00:25] The power is back. What's up? Hey y'all. The power is back and I was going to have my last minute to the rescue. Al Douglas Hogan is with us as well. He's providing backup support tonight. So appreciated. So hi Doug, how you doing? I'm good and you're right, the power is back.

[00:00:47] Yes. Amen. Prayers were answered. First podcast since we found out Trump's getting reelected and I saw a cool video. He's got a police dog, one of the robot dogs.

[00:01:02] It's prowled around. Oh really? Yeah, yeah. It's pretty neat. So yes, happy to have Trump back. Happy to be back on the show. We've had kind of a wild ride since the hurricane and it's good to just kind of settle down and get to just visit with everybody and do kind of a little bit more of a normal show tonight.

[00:01:26] A big announcement on the docket. Let's get this out of the way before we get into just the chit chat. Part two of season four of the changing earth audio drama is beginning Thursday for the public.

[00:01:42] So anybody who's not a paid supporting member, you guys will get that drop on Thursday. If you are a paid supporting member of the changing earth,

[00:01:53] the changing earth series and everything that we do on the changing earth, then you got that available this Thursday commercial free.

[00:02:01] And I tell you, you guys got to got to keep up with the show because it's just going to be absolutely rocking and rolling right up to the end of this season.

[00:02:11] So I'm just starting to get lines out for season five. So that'll be in the works and all that's looking good as well.

[00:02:18] Alrighty. So tonight we are talking about what makes America great.

[00:02:30] Oh, one more thing before we get into what makes America great is I have the changing earth series.

[00:02:40] I have a lot of copies of my old books because of Hurricane Helene.

[00:02:44] So if you go over to my website and you use the code Helene, H-E-L-E-N-E, all capitalized,

[00:02:54] you are basically going to pick those books up at cost, which is the cost of shipping.

[00:03:01] So I'm just trying to get out those old books.

[00:03:04] That's the last editions of those covers ever.

[00:03:07] Doug just went to town on my book series.

[00:03:10] They got new skins. It looks great.

[00:03:12] But these are the last editions of the first covers for those books.

[00:03:17] So pick them up. They make a great Christmas gift.

[00:03:20] Once again, use Helene, H-E-L-E-N-E, all capital,

[00:03:24] and you're going to get a great deal that I've never offered anyone on those books.

[00:03:28] So I figured my podcast listeners should get the first grab at them.

[00:03:35] All right. Yeah. Yeah.

[00:03:39] I bought a lot of stock for Prepper Camp, and Helene just kind of wiped me out,

[00:03:43] wiped my trailer out.

[00:03:46] At least they didn't wipe your place out, you know?

[00:03:49] Well, for sure. Yeah, we were pretty lucky.

[00:03:54] So we haven't seen you in a while.

[00:03:56] Why don't you just do a little rundown about, you know,

[00:04:00] just your experience so far post-Helene and just maybe, you know,

[00:04:05] just some of the biggest lessons learned out of that experience.

[00:04:09] We're always taking notes, right?

[00:04:13] Yeah. So we have, you know, been part of the Prepper Broadcasting family for years, right?

[00:04:22] So we're good to go.

[00:04:23] We didn't have any hurdles to overcome.

[00:04:26] Yeah. Yeah.

[00:04:27] You were completely prepped, ready to go.

[00:04:30] Yeah.

[00:04:32] So things like water, palatable water was good.

[00:04:37] The toilet was getting flushed with rainwater collection, so that was good.

[00:04:43] Beautiful.

[00:04:44] You know, if you have a generator and you plan on connecting it to your house

[00:04:49] and you have your house wired to run off a generator,

[00:04:52] make sure you've got the cable that goes from the generator to the house.

[00:04:57] Oh. Oh.

[00:04:59] I had to run off school.

[00:05:04] JD actually had left a whole bunch of, had donated some cables to me,

[00:05:10] some wires, electric extensions.

[00:05:12] So thanks to her, we had wires run, cables run through the house

[00:05:18] because the way I had planned on doing it with the generator outside,

[00:05:23] there's a panel that you plug into.

[00:05:25] Well, I didn't have that cable, so.

[00:05:28] But we still had power in the house because of our buddy.

[00:05:32] Got you.

[00:05:33] You know what?

[00:05:34] She was so helpful.

[00:05:35] She was an absolute godsend to that area.

[00:05:38] She was hooked with internet.

[00:05:41] She was hooking up people with all kinds of stuff.

[00:05:43] So she was, there is some good on the left coast and she's proof.

[00:05:50] Fair.

[00:05:51] She's a big girl.

[00:05:52] Yep.

[00:05:53] So that was, that was my biggest hurdle.

[00:05:57] I think chainsaws and gas are an important thing to have for storms, right?

[00:06:03] I totally agree.

[00:06:04] So we recovered with that, but I just ordered a new one.

[00:06:07] So I'll have a little bigger one than I had previously.

[00:06:10] We will not be road tripping without a chainsaw in the future.

[00:06:14] Yeah.

[00:06:15] Yeah.

[00:06:16] Because, I mean, still driving around.

[00:06:19] We drove to the Tryon Equestrian Center last weekend because they're having a big,

[00:06:25] all the, all the businesses in Chimney Rock and Lake Lure were invited to set up storefronts

[00:06:34] in the Tryon Equestrian Center.

[00:06:37] It's this big like horse show, rodeo thing, like this big center where they all go do these

[00:06:43] shows and concerts and stuff.

[00:06:45] So that was pretty sweet.

[00:06:47] So we went down to check them out and the, the amount of trees that had been cut and moved

[00:06:53] off the road, it was amazing.

[00:06:57] Yeah.

[00:06:57] So I was driving around the county since the storm.

[00:07:00] I mean, it took, you know, a week, I'm sure, to clear some of these roads because it, it,

[00:07:07] it totally blew my mind when we got out, you know, just drove further out than just from

[00:07:14] town, you know, into town to get groceries or whatever and back.

[00:07:17] Yeah.

[00:07:18] Yeah.

[00:07:18] It's the first time I've been driving down a highway and literally like the trees were

[00:07:26] all still laying there.

[00:07:27] Like they just cut them off where the cars needed to go by.

[00:07:30] It wasn't like one tree.

[00:07:32] It was like tons.

[00:07:35] In just like a quarter mile section.

[00:07:37] And then you go like a little bit of clear area and then you see another just clump of trees

[00:07:42] down.

[00:07:42] Um, we just had, we were joking about power, but today we had, it's been light rain, like

[00:07:49] drizzled to light rain on and off all day long today.

[00:07:53] And about an hour and a half before showtime, power went out.

[00:07:57] Uh huh.

[00:07:58] Of course.

[00:07:59] There's still trees out there that are, that are on the verge of falling over.

[00:08:05] And when the earth is, you know, just the right, you know, moist enough or whatever,

[00:08:10] they're getting away.

[00:08:11] Yeah.

[00:08:11] Yeah.

[00:08:11] So, uh, the power company was like right on it and it came on like five minutes before

[00:08:18] showtime.

[00:08:19] But, uh, yeah.

[00:08:20] So my biggest thing I think was, uh, fuel chainsaw and check all your preps.

[00:08:28] Make sure like run the generator.

[00:08:30] Don't just say, I got a generator.

[00:08:31] I got it.

[00:08:32] I can hook it up to the house.

[00:08:33] We're good to go.

[00:08:34] Do the whole thing.

[00:08:36] Run it.

[00:08:37] See you all the circuits that are working in the house.

[00:08:39] Let's make sure it's all done working right.

[00:08:41] So that was my biggest fail.

[00:08:44] Had the generator.

[00:08:46] Yep.

[00:08:46] Good lessons learned.

[00:08:47] Good lessons learned along the way.

[00:08:49] Just the old fashioned way.

[00:08:51] I run it through the window instead of, uh, I was all set to just, oh, watch this, honey.

[00:08:56] And I'm like, I just have to flip this one circuit inside and we'll have all these, you know,

[00:09:00] throw us the emergency circuit on and it didn't happen.

[00:09:05] Yep.

[00:09:07] Yeah.

[00:09:08] Oh, well, at least you had one still though.

[00:09:10] I mean.

[00:09:10] We're fine.

[00:09:12] Yeah.

[00:09:13] I mean, comfortable.

[00:09:14] From what I've seen, you know, unless like your, all your preps were in your house and

[00:09:17] your house is now gone.

[00:09:19] But you know, it's interesting.

[00:09:21] Um, I've been, I've been, there's no for that.

[00:09:24] Right.

[00:09:25] Staying alone to your surroundings and being able to not be there when that catastrophe

[00:09:30] happens.

[00:09:31] I've been working on, um, nonfiction books from, you know, a lot of the shows that we've

[00:09:37] done.

[00:09:39] And time and time again, we said have tarps, have tarps, have tarps because those tarps

[00:09:44] might be your home.

[00:09:46] And I was like, wow, how much of like, you know, everything that we've been talking about

[00:09:52] just came completely true at that minute, you know?

[00:09:56] Maybe think of what other things.

[00:09:58] So comms, communications, communications, communications, because we, this whole county

[00:10:04] or this whole region, really not just county, this whole region went dark.

[00:10:08] No cell signal, no internet.

[00:10:12] It was a weird, it was like being back in high school for me because there was nothing.

[00:10:17] Right.

[00:10:19] That's another thing I've realized like is how reliable, like just completely dependent.

[00:10:26] And so I've been all about comms and getting that squared away because, I mean, I had it,

[00:10:33] but, um, I've been like finding repeaters.

[00:10:37] Uh, I can, I can talk a half an hour away.

[00:10:40] I'll be in town.

[00:10:42] The wife will be home.

[00:10:43] We can talk on a GMRS repeater.

[00:10:45] Now those walkie talkies that, you know, you can talk one to five miles simplex.

[00:10:50] Well, we can talk.

[00:10:51] There's about a 60 mile radius.

[00:10:54] Nice.

[00:10:54] From the repeater.

[00:10:56] Yeah.

[00:10:56] We're going to get you doing some masterclasses and have to do some more podcasts on.

[00:11:00] Communication.

[00:11:02] And I've been, I've been like all over YouTube watching these like after action reports about

[00:11:07] guys talking about ham nets and, and GMRS and mesotastic and all, because I really need

[00:11:14] to get my county better situated for, uh, that kind of stuff.

[00:11:19] Yeah.

[00:11:20] Get off the internet reliability.

[00:11:23] I had a good story.

[00:11:25] So, uh, one of the ladies in the CERT group, uh, she had gotten, she lives on a little country

[00:11:34] road and a whole bunch of like widower, widows and stuff live, older ladies and stuff, single

[00:11:39] ladies and stuff live on the same road she lives on.

[00:11:42] And she got them all involved in GMRS.

[00:11:45] And every week they'd have a little CERT check.

[00:11:49] Oh, that's cool.

[00:11:50] Yeah.

[00:11:51] And then when the storm hit, they were good to go.

[00:11:54] They know how to use the radios or chat to each other.

[00:11:58] They're like, oh, we got this.

[00:11:59] If you need some, or, uh, I'm running a little low on this and run it over.

[00:12:04] You know, the one lady was heading down the road to confront somebody.

[00:12:07] So they all had eyes on watching, you know, to make sure.

[00:12:11] Yeah.

[00:12:11] Nobody got picked up along the way.

[00:12:13] That's awesome.

[00:12:14] Yeah.

[00:12:15] The success story was the old ladies working the radio.

[00:12:18] Love that.

[00:12:19] There you go.

[00:12:20] Love that.

[00:12:20] Yep.

[00:12:21] Yep.

[00:12:21] So.

[00:12:23] Well, I mean, figure it out now.

[00:12:27] Yeah.

[00:12:27] Yep.

[00:12:28] Yeah.

[00:12:58] You just have one that goes one to five miles and you have to go out to check on something.

[00:13:02] You got a radio in your pocket and the guys have radios at the house.

[00:13:07] You can still communicate with each other.

[00:13:09] You're not going blind.

[00:13:10] It's not like, oh, mom hasn't been back for an hour.

[00:13:14] Yeah.

[00:13:15] Yeah.

[00:13:24] Yeah.

[00:13:29] Yeah.

[00:13:44] It's happened two or three times since we've been in our new building.

[00:13:47] Yeah.

[00:13:58] Yeah.

[00:14:01] Yeah.

[00:14:02] Yeah.

[00:14:03] Yeah.

[00:14:05] So we're, we're always, we're used to keep going to get everybody's on the right now.

[00:14:16] At that time.

[00:14:20] to the community that, hey, call this number if you have an emergency.

[00:14:24] Oh, huh.

[00:14:25] Yep.

[00:14:26] Oh, that takes down the 911 systems as well?

[00:14:30] Yeah.

[00:14:30] Like when your electricity is down.

[00:14:33] Yeah, fair.

[00:14:34] Because people – we become so committed to using cell service and electronics and all.

[00:14:38] We're in a technological age.

[00:14:43] They're sending out notices on Facebook.

[00:14:45] Like Boil Water notices on Facebook and crap like that.

[00:14:49] It's like, come on.

[00:14:51] Crazy.

[00:14:51] Yeah.

[00:14:53] Yep.

[00:14:54] That's why I do like those systems that if we can get something in place.

[00:15:00] Go ahead.

[00:15:00] You guys doing the – what, Starlink?

[00:15:03] Or Skylink?

[00:15:04] What's Starlink?

[00:15:05] Yeah, Starlink.

[00:15:05] Starlink.

[00:15:06] I don't have Starlink.

[00:15:07] I would like to have Starlink, especially next year when I come out to prep her camp because

[00:15:10] let me tell you, Jenny saved my tail with her system.

[00:15:15] Yeah.

[00:15:15] Do you have it with your department?

[00:15:18] No.

[00:15:18] You all have to – that's what they think.

[00:15:22] I hear responders got some a little bit into this, and that's what saved their butt with

[00:15:29] Starlink.

[00:15:29] Mm-hmm.

[00:15:30] Because both the base unit and the mobile unit.

[00:15:33] So have your department look into that because Starlink hooked these guys up.

[00:15:41] And it was – because our 911 went down, and that's how they came back up with Starlink.

[00:15:47] And, like, the sheriff and stuff, he was having problems with comms, and he got some mobile panels.

[00:15:54] So have them check into that.

[00:15:55] The mobile Starlink, too.

[00:15:58] Yeah.

[00:15:58] Like, if you buy it just personally for yourself, the one that's the mobile one, you only have to pay for it when you're going to use it.

[00:16:06] So it's really good for, like, traveling and stuff like that as well.

[00:16:10] Yeah.

[00:16:10] Mm-hmm.

[00:16:11] And I can't – don't hold me to this, but I think I read someplace it's, like, $20 a month if you have it piggybacked onto preexisting.

[00:16:19] Like, we have Starlink at home.

[00:16:21] Right.

[00:16:21] That's what we're talking on right now.

[00:16:23] Yeah.

[00:16:23] And if I wanted to buy the mobile panel, I could fire it up.

[00:16:29] I could travel and stuff for just an extra $20 a month since I already have an account.

[00:16:34] Mm-hmm.

[00:16:36] Reasonable, but we'll see.

[00:16:37] That's pretty cool.

[00:16:38] That's pretty cool.

[00:16:39] You have to buy the hardware, and that's not cheap.

[00:16:41] All right.

[00:16:42] So let's get into topic today.

[00:16:45] We're talking about what makes America great because the slogan is, let's make America great again.

[00:16:51] Right?

[00:16:51] And I think what maybe some of the newer generations and stuff are confused about is in school they were told how non-great America is.

[00:17:02] And unless you had good, strong roots in American culture and traditions and exceptionalism, then you don't really know why America is great.

[00:17:16] So maybe that's some of the problems with, you know, what's going on is that they just don't understand what made America great to begin with.

[00:17:26] So I'm going to go around what's your guys' number one opinion of what made America so different from every other country?

[00:17:36] And it's pretty.

[00:17:39] But go ahead, Doug.

[00:17:44] You know, right off the bat, I'm going to jump in on the First and the Second Amendments.

[00:17:48] No other country.

[00:17:48] I mean, you hear people when you see movies, you hear everybody talking about, oh, the other countries have freedoms too.

[00:17:53] Not ingrained like the United States does.

[00:17:57] Like this is – we have the Constitution affirming these rights like it is the law of the land.

[00:18:03] Sure, they have rights.

[00:18:04] But look what happens when their government doesn't like what they're saying or what they're posting.

[00:18:09] You see in Europe right now literally getting arrested for posting quote-unquote hate posts or hate propaganda just because they express something that hurts somebody's feelings.

[00:18:19] Right.

[00:18:21] And they're trying to reach out further than just Europe.

[00:18:26] Yeah.

[00:18:26] With Twitter and stuff, right?

[00:18:27] Mm-hmm.

[00:18:28] Trying to reach into America to be like, well, you can't show it in Europe then if it's breaking these rules or whatever.

[00:18:34] It's like –

[00:18:34] So in the United States, Facebook's pretty much – not just Facebook but like Instagram as well.

[00:18:40] It's just a huge database for the CIA.

[00:18:43] That's all it's good for in my opinion.

[00:18:44] I hate – I hate Facebook.

[00:18:47] I hate all these places that they just collect your data and they share all this information out.

[00:18:51] Yep.

[00:18:51] The problem with that is CIA has all this stuff, right?

[00:18:54] And the left-wing Democrats in their own record is this.

[00:18:57] As we found out from the Twitter files when they were released after Elon Musk bought it and changed it to X, he released all this information out to the community.

[00:19:03] And what did we find out?

[00:19:04] That they were in fact – the U.S. government was in fact reaching out to them and telling them to censor and to silence conservative-leaning posts.

[00:19:11] Oh, yeah.

[00:19:12] I know.

[00:19:13] I got completely nuclear bombed in 2020.

[00:19:16] Same.

[00:19:17] But I think you hit it right on the head.

[00:19:19] My number one is constitution.

[00:19:22] It's the first time that a nation was beholden to the creator and not to another human being.

[00:19:33] I mean, that – yes.

[00:19:34] And that sentiment is – I mean, that's universal.

[00:19:37] That goes out across – here's the problem with other countries is that is a baseline.

[00:19:44] Every human has human rights.

[00:19:46] Right.

[00:19:46] Baseline.

[00:19:47] Baseline.

[00:19:48] They have a right to walk and talk, and they have a right to assemble.

[00:19:51] They have a right to say whatever they want to say.

[00:19:53] These are God-given rights.

[00:19:54] They have a right to property and to say – the fact that it hurts people's feelings, that is not a right for the person.

[00:20:03] They don't have a right for being offended.

[00:20:05] Correct?

[00:20:05] So – and that's what's happening right now in Europe, and especially in the United Kingdom, is they're going on – they're not going door to door.

[00:20:14] And they're not going to say, yeah, you posted on Facebook hate whatever it was.

[00:20:19] Yeah.

[00:20:19] And these guys are like really surprised.

[00:20:21] Like, it's hate?

[00:20:22] Hate speech?

[00:20:23] What are you talking about?

[00:20:24] Yes, you said blah, blah, blah, blah.

[00:20:26] And it's really just something that hurts somebody's feelings.

[00:20:29] But the problem with that is, is who determines what is hate speech?

[00:20:33] It really – it's really – whoever's in charge.

[00:20:37] Whose feelings are the lit this test?

[00:20:40] Exactly.

[00:20:41] And it's always going to be – if you got – let me tell you right now that now – I mean not now, but let's say January 6th.

[00:20:48] Okay?

[00:20:49] In January 6th, the left-wingers are going to be thinking that Donald Trump is the one who determines what hate speech is.

[00:20:56] Okay?

[00:20:56] When in reality, conservatives really don't have – there's not a baseline for hate speech.

[00:21:03] Like, you can say whatever you want to.

[00:21:04] Right.

[00:21:04] And that's why they hate us so much because they think that we're Nazis because we can say whatever we want to and get away with it.

[00:21:09] Well, that's a God-given right.

[00:21:11] That's what freedom of speech is.

[00:21:12] But God holds us accountable.

[00:21:14] Yeah.

[00:21:14] I'm sorry?

[00:21:15] That's what freedom of speech is.

[00:21:16] You're going to hear things that are offensive and you better because that's how you get debate and that's how you get new ideas and that's how you decide like, oh, that idea doesn't work or we don't.

[00:21:26] That's how you get very robust communications and, you know, dialogues.

[00:21:29] And, you know, this is how you debate on – and you determine who's going to be your president and your candidates.

[00:21:34] It's through a very robust – it seems like it's okay for everybody when they get up on a debate stage, they throw them under each other.

[00:21:40] That seems to be like the only time when it's okay, you know, to – it's not hate speech, you know, especially if somebody is insulting a conservative.

[00:21:48] But is that –

[00:21:48] That's not hate speech.

[00:21:49] You know, you deserve that.

[00:21:50] He is a Nazi.

[00:21:51] And it's okay.

[00:21:52] But if somebody that's on the right says something and that's on the left, then it's hate speech.

[00:21:56] Yeah.

[00:21:57] That's par for the courts though, right?

[00:21:58] Because, like, what happens in the halls of Congress is fine.

[00:22:01] But, you know what I mean?

[00:22:03] They're allowed to say what they want.

[00:22:04] They can make the law and it doesn't – you know, it doesn't affect me.

[00:22:08] It only affects the citizens of the country, you know?

[00:22:13] Well, yeah.

[00:22:13] It's like the Obolicare thing.

[00:22:15] It didn't apply to anybody in Congress.

[00:22:17] Like the COVID shots.

[00:22:20] The COVID shots.

[00:22:21] That's – you know.

[00:22:23] Mm-hmm.

[00:22:24] No mandates apply to them.

[00:22:26] Only to the United States citizens because we are the sheep.

[00:22:30] Right.

[00:22:30] That would make it a whole different ballgame.

[00:22:34] And also how –

[00:22:35] Everything that came from that building was forced upon everybody as well as the people that were inside the building.

[00:22:41] Yeah.

[00:22:43] Exactly.

[00:22:43] That's why I'm all for the term limits.

[00:22:45] Well, you probably saw the videos.

[00:22:46] You probably saw the videos of, like, where they're taking pictures, you know, and they all have their masks on during, quote, unquote, the pandemic.

[00:22:52] And then they think – when the meetings are over with and they think the telecameras are off, they're still running.

[00:22:58] And they take their masks off and they're okay.

[00:23:00] Yeah.

[00:23:01] Okay.

[00:23:02] Caught right-handed.

[00:23:03] Classic.

[00:23:04] Do as I say, not as I do.

[00:23:06] It's some schoolyard stuff that's going on.

[00:23:08] It's just ridiculous.

[00:23:10] Yeah.

[00:23:11] But that's the First Amendment thing.

[00:23:12] And then we got, you know, like I said, the Second Amendment, right, which is a whole new ball of wax.

[00:23:17] It protects everything.

[00:23:19] Yeah.

[00:23:19] Like, without the Second Amendment.

[00:23:22] I think that's why there's been such a hard push against firearms.

[00:23:26] And if they can just convince – and that's what they've been trying to do is convince, you know, the Kool-Aid drinkers that firearms are bad.

[00:23:32] You know, they kill more people than any other thing in the United States does, which is a total lie.

[00:23:36] Like, kitchen knives kill more people than guns do.

[00:23:39] Ball bats kill more people.

[00:23:40] Traffic crashes, alcohol, cigarettes.

[00:23:42] You see what I'm saying?

[00:23:43] But the focus is on something that just happens to be the one element that keeps us and our rights secure.

[00:23:50] Yes.

[00:23:51] Well, that's purposeful.

[00:23:55] What about you, Chad?

[00:23:57] You got something other than – I got a little list.

[00:24:00] So I –

[00:24:01] Yeah.

[00:24:02] Yeah.

[00:24:02] Well, obviously, after what I've lived through, I'm saying what makes and what made America great is the salt of the earth people of this country.

[00:24:14] Amen.

[00:24:15] It's not, you know, that whole joke about the worst thing to hear is the government's here to help.

[00:24:20] Yeah.

[00:24:20] That's not going to happen.

[00:24:21] Because I saw during this storm the people stood up and took care of them, took care of themselves and took care of their neighbors.

[00:24:31] It's the people of this country that, you know, work for the good of, you know, their families and their neighbors and their, you know, neighborhoods are the reason why this country is what it is.

[00:24:45] It's so true.

[00:24:46] That's right.

[00:24:47] My number two was the American dream.

[00:24:49] You could come from anywhere and you can become anything that you want to be with hard work and determination.

[00:24:54] We've taken away – we tried to take away those caste systems, those social shackles that held you in place.

[00:25:02] And it is a little disheartening to see, like, this elitist world of you can only do this if you're that class or whatever really starting to grip this country too hard, in my opinion.

[00:25:18] And when you listen to people who immigrated here, you know, legitimately through the methods that are correct and you ask them, you know, what is so great about America, that's what they would tell you is that with hard work, grit, and determination, you can be whatever you want to be.

[00:25:40] And that – we just pull together when times get rough and we, you know, iron sharpens iron.

[00:25:47] And that's really cool to see.

[00:25:49] Like we were talking in the green room about the Amish coming in and helping out and everything.

[00:25:53] They've just really stepped up their game this time around here in 2024.

[00:26:00] I don't think I've ever seen the Amish in the news so much in my life.

[00:26:04] Let me just say real quick while you're on that because they came out and did what they did for Pennsylvania.

[00:26:09] This is the first time in 36 years a Republican won all of these states like this.

[00:26:15] Like this was huge, the electoral and the popular.

[00:26:19] And it's crazy to me also while I'm on that note is that the only states that Kamala Harris won are the states that don't require voter ID.

[00:26:28] Yeah.

[00:26:28] Gee.

[00:26:29] Yeah.

[00:26:30] And if you look at like the immigrant map as well, yeah, those are the blue areas where like not legal immigration where a lot of the illegal immigrants are.

[00:26:41] And gee, I wonder why, you know, if you were here illegally on that little mass invasion that we had, why you would vote for Kamala over Trump?

[00:26:50] Hmm.

[00:26:51] You know?

[00:26:52] So.

[00:26:53] Again, it shows when the salt of the earth come together and work hard, we get positive outcomes.

[00:27:01] And this election cycle was a proof of that.

[00:27:05] Yeah.

[00:27:06] I mean, we had huge turnouts.

[00:27:09] And again, back to, you know, what we've always talked about is if when disaster hits, you can't rely on FEMA.

[00:27:16] To think, you know, that your government's going to be there to rescue you, to help you, to feed you.

[00:27:23] That's not going to happen.

[00:27:25] And I think that way too many people have that idea in their head that like, oh, they're like the magic people with angel wings that are supposed to come and get me out of this.

[00:27:34] There's no come and get me out of this.

[00:27:38] You're going to have to do it.

[00:27:39] And the people around you are going to have to do it.

[00:27:42] And it's just incredible stories.

[00:27:44] Like you said, the ladies with the radios, you know, being able to do that and have that network preexisting.

[00:27:52] So that's really why it's so important to keep learning this stuff and being that leader in your community.

[00:28:01] That's really good, Jim.

[00:28:02] Did you see, like I posted in the back channel where the results for my county, we had 72, almost 73% voter turnout.

[00:28:14] And that's people that literally had their house washed off the foundation.

[00:28:19] Right.

[00:28:20] Like that's people that are still like trying to figure out what they're going to do with their land because there's so many trees down.

[00:28:27] Like my garden's a mess.

[00:28:29] I haven't, I'll worry about it.

[00:28:31] Right.

[00:28:32] But they were their vote.

[00:28:34] Winter long.

[00:28:35] And then this break was basically like starting a new garden.

[00:28:38] Yeah.

[00:28:38] So, but even with all that heartache and all that chaos in our lives, almost 73% turnout for this election.

[00:28:49] I was amazed when I saw those stats.

[00:28:52] That's people saying we're going, we got to get out and vote.

[00:28:54] Yeah.

[00:28:55] I don't care if we have to, you know, take the UT, the side by side, you know, across the road.

[00:29:01] Right.

[00:29:01] There's no more bridge there to drive the car that we're going to get there.

[00:29:05] And that's what happened.

[00:29:07] We got the vote.

[00:29:08] Yeah.

[00:29:09] There's a lot to be said there.

[00:29:10] There's a lot to unpack there.

[00:29:13] As far as, you know, what those numbers looked like this year, the most voted year yet.

[00:29:18] The numbers don't even hit close to what the numbers were in the 2020 election.

[00:29:25] Hmm.

[00:29:26] Don't know what happened there.

[00:29:28] So.

[00:29:30] Well, I think.

[00:29:31] Was there like 30 million more votes?

[00:29:33] Yeah.

[00:29:33] Was it 2020 than now?

[00:29:36] Right.

[00:29:37] They don't add up.

[00:29:38] No.

[00:29:38] How did you get because the vote out early using.

[00:29:41] I mean, we all hate.

[00:29:42] We all want to vote.

[00:29:43] It's the patriarch thing to vote on the day like election day.

[00:29:47] But whatever your state allowed.

[00:29:49] I think we had like a two week voting period in North Carolina to get that vote out.

[00:29:55] So you cast your ballots and then it was harder for them to sneak in and figure and, you know, do all their little.

[00:30:01] We had a massive turnout in Texas in the early voting.

[00:30:05] I can't remember what Fletcher was telling me.

[00:30:07] It's something like 80 percent of people were already voted by the Fed.

[00:30:11] My count.

[00:30:12] My little county was doing 2000 a day.

[00:30:15] Yeah.

[00:30:16] Voting.

[00:30:16] And we we only did about a thousand the day of the election because total because we had so many people vote early that.

[00:30:25] And that's cool, too.

[00:30:26] It gives them time to like actually get this stuff figured out.

[00:30:30] I mean, I'd much rather have it just one day voting, but I saw the value of it.

[00:30:35] So we voted on the second day of open, you know, early voting.

[00:30:41] Yeah.

[00:30:42] And there you go.

[00:30:42] I mean, America is just great for that.

[00:30:44] That reason as well.

[00:30:45] We got to watch what's going on with them trying to abolish the electoral and only go on the popular vote.

[00:30:52] But that's that he won popular as well.

[00:30:55] I know, which is incredible.

[00:30:57] But because if she had won a popular vote, they would have gone hard, hard on that, I'm sure.

[00:31:04] Yeah.

[00:31:04] But OK, so the other thing that I really accredit like American greatness to is religious freedom.

[00:31:15] You have freedom to worship whoever you want, however you want, as long as that doesn't injure other people in your practicing of doing that.

[00:31:27] So there's obviously things I don't agree with, you know, as far as worshiping of some entities.

[00:31:33] But you have that right in the United States.

[00:31:36] And that's pretty unique.

[00:31:37] And that's a pretty great thing for a country to have.

[00:31:43] I got like crickets from the boys on that one.

[00:31:46] They're like, no, not touching that one.

[00:31:48] Keep my stuff muted because I didn't get feedback on mine.

[00:31:51] At least my screen's like no.

[00:31:53] Luckily, we were told we couldn't go to worship.

[00:31:56] Right?

[00:31:57] Right.

[00:31:57] So we were.

[00:31:59] Yeah.

[00:32:00] Yeah.

[00:32:01] The funny thing about that, Shane, I know you remember, I don't know, did you sit in one?

[00:32:06] Actually, you were busy at Prepper Camp.

[00:32:08] I don't know if you got to sit down at all and listen to any of my surviving martial law stuff.

[00:32:12] But during the COVID pandemic, whenever they were pushing for the churches to be shut down,

[00:32:18] like the press was literally at these White House press conferences,

[00:32:22] and they're seated six feet apart and acting all stupid with their medical masks on, right?

[00:32:28] Like their fabric masks on, like it's going to protect them.

[00:32:31] And they're raising their hands.

[00:32:32] They're asking these idiotic questions like why isn't Trump going to make –

[00:32:37] or why isn't the president going to shut down the churches at all?

[00:32:39] And they were like attacking.

[00:32:40] Why aren't the churches being shut down?

[00:32:43] And this was before Biden took office, which, again, it was under threat.

[00:32:48] But the point being is that right is for the freedom of the press the same exact right

[00:32:55] as the right to peaceably assemble and to worship, the freedom of religion.

[00:32:58] Yes.

[00:32:59] They're both the First Amendment.

[00:33:00] So how hypocritical is it for them to sit in there and raise their hand and say,

[00:33:04] yo, how come you're not shutting the churches down?

[00:33:05] While they're sitting there at a press conference raising their hand asking,

[00:33:08] why didn't you shut down the First Amendment?

[00:33:10] Made no sense.

[00:33:11] It just goes to show the hypocrisy of the left.

[00:33:13] Yeah.

[00:33:15] So true.

[00:33:17] So true.

[00:33:19] And that was all faiths, right?

[00:33:22] I mean, like Minnesota doing their, oh, you can't have any teachers of faith teaching school.

[00:33:27] That was all faiths included, and they went after everyone, Christian, Muslim, didn't matter.

[00:33:34] They pretty much blanketed it all.

[00:33:36] I don't know how that's going to work out for their state, but it was pretty interesting.

[00:33:43] All right.

[00:33:43] Sorry.

[00:33:44] I'm trying to read.

[00:33:44] Silver Streak left me a big What Makes America Great.

[00:33:47] So.

[00:33:48] Yeah.

[00:33:51] I'm trying to make.

[00:33:52] Get on that post.

[00:33:53] Right.

[00:33:54] I'm trying to make sure I have the vocabulary.

[00:33:55] I'll read it out loud.

[00:33:59] I got a thesaurus for this one.

[00:34:01] Okay.

[00:34:02] Silver Streak.

[00:34:03] I'm thesaurus in.

[00:34:05] He says, well, when I read the Declaration of Independence and it lists of grievances,

[00:34:11] it becomes apparent to me that the oppression of our ancestors faced was real and that they

[00:34:17] knew the threat wouldn't go away with new government only.

[00:34:21] Every generation needs to understand the past and appreciate it in order to protect themselves

[00:34:26] from despotism.

[00:34:28] It's extremely important today now that we have government that possesses technological

[00:34:33] advancements that they use against the citizen.

[00:34:37] Fair.

[00:34:39] And it makes you wonder why all this new schooling, new math is wiping away history or rewriting

[00:34:48] history and why statues were being torn down.

[00:34:51] Right.

[00:34:52] Right.

[00:34:52] Because what he said, you have to appreciate.

[00:34:54] You do.

[00:34:55] What happened.

[00:34:56] Yeah.

[00:34:56] All the challenges.

[00:34:59] Yeah.

[00:34:59] Imagine if you just had like a brain wipe and you couldn't remember all the struggles and

[00:35:04] challenges you had as a teenager and as your younger years, you know, and you didn't

[00:35:10] have any of that relevance to go on to make your decisions tomorrow.

[00:35:13] What kind of a human being you would be?

[00:35:16] 84.

[00:35:21] Orwellian drop there.

[00:35:23] Right.

[00:35:24] Yeah.

[00:35:26] No.

[00:35:28] That's legit.

[00:35:30] Um, the other thing that I think is pretty cool is the government structure that is supposed

[00:35:37] to be this balanced government that has checks and balances to make sure that corruption can't

[00:35:43] hit every part of government.

[00:35:45] So I believe we saw it kind of fail.

[00:35:48] I think it's self-correcting.

[00:35:50] Um, hopefully at this point, um, with the marriage of business and government together,

[00:35:57] that people could jump in and out of business positions and into government to change things

[00:36:02] the way they wanted to.

[00:36:03] Um, a lot has, a lot of that has to do with certain administrations that are in place as

[00:36:08] far as like the, um, food and drug administration and things like that, um, that allowed a lot of

[00:36:14] that to happen.

[00:36:14] But in theory, you know, our government, yeah, it might be a little bit slow and it might be

[00:36:19] a little bit messy to have to have these discussions and whatnot, but it helps keep radical ideas

[00:36:25] on both sides kind of in that middle line where we can all come together hopefully in the future.

[00:36:31] And I think that's a pretty cool facet of the United States of America that made this a really

[00:36:36] exceptional country.

[00:36:39] Slow is steady, right?

[00:36:41] Right.

[00:36:41] Like in a lot of other things we do.

[00:36:43] Yeah.

[00:36:44] And I mean, we can go down a direction, but at least it has the ability to self-correct before

[00:36:49] that, that direction gets self-destructive, which is what I believe that's been happening

[00:36:54] for the last decade.

[00:36:58] I got hope.

[00:37:01] I mean, we got a system in place for self-correction, but it seems like we're not even allowed.

[00:37:06] I mean, hence all the regulation, right?

[00:37:09] Yeah.

[00:37:10] Was it long ago when Biden made a comment about the United States citizens having tanks

[00:37:17] or something?

[00:37:18] You know, it was like, actually, if the government has them, we should have them too.

[00:37:22] Right?

[00:37:22] And yeah, he was like, what are you going to do, AR-15s against an F-16 or whatever?

[00:37:28] That was his comment.

[00:37:29] Yeah.

[00:37:30] Something along those lines.

[00:37:31] But it's like, you know, the reason why this was put in place was so that it's to prevent

[00:37:36] a tyrannical government from what the listener said, the despotism.

[00:37:43] We got despots running this country right now, and there's a lot of them.

[00:37:46] And they don't care about, you know, what we think or what we feel.

[00:37:50] Or they do care about what we have in our homes protecting our rights.

[00:37:56] Yeah.

[00:37:57] It's scary when they turn the lens back on its own people.

[00:38:02] And of course, in the name of security, and I understand that if there's like a reason,

[00:38:09] you know.

[00:38:09] But honestly, I would err more on the side of none of that should be turned back on its

[00:38:15] people to, you know, like you said, the spy system.

[00:38:20] From the constant.

[00:38:22] All that, everything the federal government has, all of its power should be used to defend

[00:38:26] our borders.

[00:38:26] Right.

[00:38:27] Right.

[00:38:28] Nothing.

[00:38:28] None of it should be used to police after its people.

[00:38:30] We could police after ourselves.

[00:38:32] That's what your local governments are for.

[00:38:33] That's why we elect sheriffs.

[00:38:35] Fair.

[00:38:35] Fair.

[00:38:36] Yeah.

[00:38:39] That's why we pay property taxes, you know, to make sure that stuff happens.

[00:38:43] Yes.

[00:38:44] Sheriff, you know, sheriffs, police officers, we're citizens too, you know.

[00:38:47] But they're officers.

[00:38:48] That's the difference, right?

[00:38:50] It's like when a citizen goes through a certain amount of training, they get deputized, in

[00:38:55] a manner of speaking, and they become an officer.

[00:38:57] They're an officer citizen.

[00:38:57] That's all that they are.

[00:38:58] They're police officers.

[00:38:59] Right.

[00:38:59] And they are the ones that are appointed by persons elected into positions to defend and

[00:39:05] protect.

[00:39:06] You know, police could be tyrannical too.

[00:39:09] And they need to be kept in check because they're people.

[00:39:11] Everybody's got flaws and faults.

[00:39:13] Right.

[00:39:13] And they could be caught up in this mess.

[00:39:15] And everybody, there's always some 10% or more that slips through the cracks, unfortunately.

[00:39:19] That's just how it is.

[00:39:20] And it's that way everywhere.

[00:39:21] Right.

[00:39:21] One in 10.

[00:39:22] They say one in 10.

[00:39:23] But it's more than that.

[00:39:25] And here's the problem with, in the government I'm talking about, like in Washington, D.C.,

[00:39:28] it seems like it's more than one in 10.

[00:39:30] At least it seems that way.

[00:39:31] Because everybody that we hear, and this kind of, we've talked about this a lot.

[00:39:36] The squeaky wheel gets the grease.

[00:39:38] Okay.

[00:39:39] So naturally, we're going to be hearing the Nancy Pelosi's.

[00:39:42] We're going to be hearing the AOC's.

[00:39:43] We're going to be hearing the Maxine Waters, the Chuck Schumer's, and all these idiots that

[00:39:47] blow all the time with, you know, with their idiocracy.

[00:39:51] They get a lot of airtime.

[00:39:52] And so we are perceiving them the most.

[00:39:55] And so it kind of throws out a blanket understanding.

[00:39:59] It makes us think, well, it's everybody in Washington, D.C.

[00:40:01] I was thinking about that with the lefty memes, like everybody freaking out, you know?

[00:40:08] But like how many people are out there celebrating Trump?

[00:40:11] And we don't see that.

[00:40:12] We just see the lefty freak out.

[00:40:14] Yes.

[00:40:15] It's like that across the board in Washington, D.C.

[00:40:17] There's a lot of seats in the Senate, a lot of seats in the House.

[00:40:20] And of those, we don't hear but of a few.

[00:40:23] And the left, the extreme on the left, they're very clamorous.

[00:40:27] And so they're noisy.

[00:40:29] And it's like that with people, too, you know, as citizens.

[00:40:32] Those of us down here in the rank and file positions, we, especially conservatives, are

[00:40:38] passive, which, like Chin was saying, with the salt of the earth, we make our voices heard

[00:40:44] at the poll box.

[00:40:45] Yeah.

[00:40:46] At the ballot.

[00:40:47] That's right.

[00:40:48] Yeah.

[00:40:48] So that's where we go to do our, quote, unquote, damage, right?

[00:40:52] Look, we're going to get out in droves.

[00:40:54] So we're going to make, we're going to do something about this.

[00:40:56] But the left, they're like, especially the noisy ones, it seems like they don't know anything

[00:41:03] about crockpots.

[00:41:04] They're all about microwaves.

[00:41:05] And so they want to, they're of this microwave generation where they got to have instantaneous

[00:41:09] gratification.

[00:41:10] And they can't wait for an election to roll around to make their voices heard.

[00:41:14] They got to destroy something right now or go out to the woods and scream their ears

[00:41:18] off.

[00:41:18] And you know what I'm saying?

[00:41:19] Yeah.

[00:41:19] That's what we're seeing right now.

[00:41:20] They're popping.

[00:41:21] Their heads are literally popping.

[00:41:22] And I heard that there was some 2,700 people that killed themselves just after this election

[00:41:28] because of the falsehoods and the lies that the left has been pushing about Donald Trump.

[00:41:33] And now they think that he's a Nazi.

[00:41:35] My son fact-checked that through, though.

[00:41:38] And there's basically that many people committing suicide every day, even though they reported that

[00:41:43] number is like an unusual thing.

[00:41:44] And I was like, well, there you go.

[00:41:47] I mean, there's our mental health problem.

[00:41:50] That's tied to the election, though?

[00:41:52] No.

[00:41:53] That are just, every day, there's like 2,000 people killing themselves in our country.

[00:41:58] Yeah.

[00:41:58] That's a lot.

[00:41:59] See, a lot of it, though, you know, you got your, in that mixture, you got your veterans

[00:42:03] that are coming back from overseas.

[00:42:04] And like, as a veteran myself, it was hard for me coming back and finding a job.

[00:42:08] Like, it took me a year and a half, I got back in 96, I got my first job.

[00:42:13] It took me two years from 96 to 98 to get a good-paying full-time job with benefits.

[00:42:19] That's crazy.

[00:42:21] Yeah.

[00:42:21] A veteran, yes.

[00:42:23] And, you know, it's like they try their best.

[00:42:25] The military does.

[00:42:26] It sets you up with the training.

[00:42:27] And they send you to classes to learn how to fill out resumes and how to shake hands and conduct interviews

[00:42:33] or be in interviews and answer questions.

[00:42:35] But once you get down to the civilian world and you're trying to reintegrate, like, it's not easy.

[00:42:39] Yep.

[00:42:41] Just because they're looking at you.

[00:42:42] For me, for example, if I'm trying to get into this, if I'm trying to get applied for a job and it says, you know,

[00:42:47] all my skill sets are infantry, basically learning how to kill people violently.

[00:42:51] Right, right.

[00:42:52] There's no use for that anywhere.

[00:42:55] Unless you have some pro-military businesses, and there are some very patriotic ones who pulled, like, grunt style, you know, it's nine lines.

[00:43:02] You know, these organizations, they pull in veterans.

[00:43:05] It's veteran-owned.

[00:43:06] It's veteran-operated.

[00:43:06] They pull in these people.

[00:43:08] And there's other patriotic business owners who hire veterans.

[00:43:10] They love doing that.

[00:43:11] And it's difficult, though, because we, when we get out there into the world after military life, don't know how to find them.

[00:43:17] I just wish that there was a way.

[00:43:19] And so our veterans are coming home with PTSD and all these other issues, and they can't find a job,

[00:43:23] and they got a wife maybe and a kid that they had when they were in the military, and now they can't support them.

[00:43:27] And I know it's a selfish way out, but nobody knows what's inside of the head of a veteran.

[00:43:31] Like, there's things that they see when they're overseas.

[00:43:34] Well, that's exactly what I'm saying.

[00:43:36] So there's where energy needs to be placed is on an integration system of being able to get these people back to work when they come in, you know.

[00:43:46] Being able to remedy some of those problems instead of worrying about how many firearms people have would seem like a lot better spent time,

[00:43:55] and we would be a happier, more fruitful society, right?

[00:43:59] Right.

[00:43:59] Yep.

[00:44:00] So, okay, my last one was freedom to innovate and create beyond your wildest dreams.

[00:44:07] So you can just be the entrepreneur here.

[00:44:10] It goes a lot with the American dream, but when people have those societal chains unleashed, wow,

[00:44:19] do they create some cool stuff that has really, really advanced our world.

[00:44:24] And look at what Elon Musk can do and everything.

[00:44:28] And so, obviously, government and regulations can hamper that.

[00:44:31] No, we don't want our world to be a toxic environment, of course.

[00:44:35] But the American dream, what made America great is because we had the freedom to actually be able to think and create those things without people putting us in a box and telling us how we had to do it.

[00:44:51] Right.

[00:44:51] And I think that's a pretty cool thing about America as well.

[00:44:55] Perfect.

[00:44:55] Yeah.

[00:44:56] Because that was actually my third one I was going to bring up if we had time was free market, which is down that line.

[00:45:01] Right.

[00:45:02] And I would say, though, that all of these things that make America great cannot exist in a good state of being without virtues, values, and respect.

[00:45:16] Mine come from the Lord Jesus, but they are essential to having a society that gives a crap about its workers and its people that make those companies great.

[00:45:30] And I think the greed and just the focus on the bottom line and then selling these shares to shareholders and then making sure that shareholders are getting a return on investment has been one of the things that has really destroyed our country because the values, that virtue and respect for those people who help make your company great again, you know, is not there.

[00:45:55] And I think that's sad.

[00:45:57] And so I would say as long as everybody can have a respect and I'm respectful, I don't care where your respect comes from, but you need to respect other people.

[00:46:07] As long as we could maintain that and do what's right by each other, I think that all of those things that make America great would make America great again.

[00:46:17] You know, when Jesus was making his rounds, you know, how the Pharisees and Sadducees always try to trip him up and get him to mess up in his doctrine, you know, in his teachings and stuff.

[00:46:27] Right.

[00:46:28] But one of them came up and asked him, Jesus, what is the greatest commandment?

[00:46:32] Hoping to be able to find an accusation against him.

[00:46:36] He said, love the Lord thy God and love your neighbor.

[00:46:39] Upon these two commandments, those these two commandments hang on all the rest of the commandments or all the rest of the commandments hang on them rather.

[00:46:45] In other words, if you love God with all your heart and you love your neighbor as yourself, then there's no covetedness.

[00:46:51] Right.

[00:46:52] There's there's there's no murder.

[00:46:53] There's no stealing and theft and all this.

[00:46:56] There's you're going to honor your parents.

[00:46:58] You see, I'm saying all those other commandments come in on love.

[00:47:02] And with love in place, there's a no need at all for even government.

[00:47:07] To tell you the truth, we could all self-sustain.

[00:47:10] Men's hearts, as we all know, are evil.

[00:47:14] Yep.

[00:47:15] That's the sad part.

[00:47:16] That's why I say we've got to come back to a little bit more virtue and a little bit more love and protecting each other.

[00:47:22] And then everything will fall back in the line.

[00:47:24] It's really cool to see Trump doing that because so many people from so many different walks of life, from so many different backgrounds, colors, races, religions, it didn't matter.

[00:47:37] We all just kind of became the MAGA crowd.

[00:47:41] Right.

[00:47:42] And I think that's something that hasn't been done in a really, really long time in this country to get that kind of feeling.

[00:47:49] And it didn't matter who you were when you walked into the door of those conventions or into a group of people.

[00:47:56] You were welcome.

[00:47:57] And a lot of liberals figured that out when they dared to venture and go into that crowd and realize that they weren't going to be hated upon and spit at or, you know, God forbid, some of these things that happened when the sides were flip-flopped.

[00:48:13] And I think that's really, really special right now.

[00:48:16] And I love that.

[00:48:17] I love to see that movement happening.

[00:48:22] I agree.

[00:48:24] And also, we seem to have a movement coming back.

[00:48:26] It's like, remember whenever after 2020 everybody was calling us election deniers and all this other stuff?

[00:48:31] Mm-hmm.

[00:48:32] And now they're doing it.

[00:48:34] Now there ain't no way he flipped all these states.

[00:48:36] No way, no way, no way.

[00:48:37] It's like you sound like a MAGA Republican election denier.

[00:48:41] Right.

[00:48:43] Yeah, I've been thinking about a lot of that.

[00:48:45] You know, as much as you got to keep watching, watching both sides.

[00:48:51] And really, that's it.

[00:48:53] You've got to watch both sides because you just never know.

[00:48:57] You don't want to jump in.

[00:49:00] And, you know, like you said, love.

[00:49:05] It'll guide it.

[00:49:06] It'll guide it.

[00:49:08] Somebody said love is all you need.

[00:49:10] Yeah.

[00:49:13] All righty, guys.

[00:49:15] Well, I'm going to jump into some changing earth news because we've got some good stuff going on.

[00:49:19] You want to stick around, Doug, or are you out of here back to the fam?

[00:49:25] What are you doing?

[00:49:27] I'm out of here.

[00:49:28] All right.

[00:49:28] You guys go have fun.

[00:49:29] I'll see you later.

[00:49:30] Thanks for having me on.

[00:49:31] Absolutely.

[00:49:32] You can check out Doug's got his own show.

[00:49:34] Him and Ryan Buford now, The Rising Republic.

[00:49:37] They are awesome.

[00:49:38] Check it out.

[00:49:39] Yeah.

[00:49:39] Good show.

[00:49:40] Good show.

[00:49:41] All right, man.

[00:49:42] Good night.

[00:49:43] Thank you.

[00:49:44] And thank you for the plug.

[00:49:45] You got it.

[00:49:48] All right, Chin.

[00:49:49] Have you seen what happened over in Spain?

[00:49:53] Or what?

[00:49:54] Those people need a prayer like you would not believe.

[00:49:57] Let me backtrack a little.

[00:49:59] Son, today we had some flaring.

[00:50:02] It's not going to be, I think it was M class.

[00:50:04] Not going to be huge, but it is super active and we have a lot of coronal holes lined up,

[00:50:09] which means we're going to be seeing earthquake, volcano activity, that kind of thing.

[00:50:13] But yeah, so Spain in, oh, come on.

[00:50:20] Valencia, Spain, they got hit like as bad as Helene.

[00:50:26] Massive flooding there.

[00:50:27] 200 people dead.

[00:50:28] They have like these 13,000 acres of greenhouses where they grow like a third of the vegetables for Europe.

[00:50:37] Just destroyed by hail.

[00:50:41] Absolute nightmare going on over there.

[00:50:44] Now they're having these huge protests, like 180,000 people out in the street because their government isn't handling the disaster appropriately.

[00:50:53] So again, that government reliance on, you know, the big brother is going to come help me out.

[00:50:59] It's just not going to happen.

[00:51:04] So yeah, it's, you should check out some of those pictures.

[00:51:07] It is insanity if you guys haven't checked it out.

[00:51:11] The roads, you know, these beautiful little towns and whatnot.

[00:51:15] Very old buildings.

[00:51:17] And just in between is just mud and cars now.

[00:51:20] Like stacked up from all this flooding.

[00:51:23] Really sad.

[00:51:26] So you're, we're not, you're not the only one living it on our planet right now.

[00:51:32] Yeah.

[00:51:33] All right.

[00:51:34] So let's jump in.

[00:51:35] On the 3rd of November, there was 392 earthquakes that were 2.0 or bigger.

[00:51:41] Biggest of which was a 5.8 in the Bering Sea near Alaska.

[00:51:47] There was a 3.6 in Northern California and a 5.3 in Greece.

[00:51:53] Oklahoma was hit by multiple tornadoes, damaging over 100 homes in that storm.

[00:52:00] On the 4th, there was 364 earthquakes that were 2.0 or bigger.

[00:52:05] Biggest of which was a 4.9 earthquake in the Agusan del Sur.

[00:52:11] I'm sure I slaughtered that.

[00:52:12] Sorry about that.

[00:52:13] My Philippine viewers over in the Philippines.

[00:52:17] There was a volcanic eruption in Indonesia that killed 10 people that day.

[00:52:22] And that volcano is erupting big time still.

[00:52:27] On my volcano where I go, the volcano map where I go, I've never seen,

[00:52:34] we always have erupting, minor activity and unrest, right?

[00:52:38] Well, they have a category for major eruption, and I've never seen one there before.

[00:52:45] But lo and behold, today, we've got it.

[00:52:51] Okay.

[00:52:51] 5th of November, 374 earthquakes that were 2.0 or bigger, biggest of which was a 5.7 earthquake in Peru.

[00:53:00] 2.0 or bigger, biggest of which was a 5.7 earthquake in the Gulf of the Gulf of the Gulf of the Gulf of the Gulf of the Gulf of the Gulf of the Gulf.

[00:53:04] So, Barcelona got hit again today, or got hit on Wednesday.

[00:53:12] And then just yesterday, Catalonia got hit as well in Spain.

[00:53:22] It's like three pretty major cities that have all gotten just slammed by destructive flooding on a mega scale.

[00:53:33] Thousands without power, strong winds hit the British Columbia coast on the 5th.

[00:53:39] On the 6th, there was 371 earthquakes that were 2.0 or bigger, biggest of which was a 5.9 in the South Pacific Ocean near Fiji.

[00:53:48] There was a 4.8 in the Hawaiian Islands.

[00:53:51] There was a 4.7 in Kazakhstan.

[00:53:55] St. Louis had heavy flooding on the 6th, left two people deceased in that event.

[00:54:03] And Saudi Arabia, historic hailstorm hits and turns the desert white.

[00:54:09] So, literally watching the camels run across the snow is a pretty crazy scene to see.

[00:54:16] On November 7th, there was 400, or no, it was 343 earthquakes that were 2.0 or bigger, biggest of which was a 5.5 in the Mid-Indian Ridge.

[00:54:28] Fuego Volcano in Guatemala was having some massive eruptions.

[00:54:32] And the drought conditions were worsening over in New York and over there in New Jersey.

[00:54:38] They're having some mega drought conditions, which is pretty incredible, being that in like June, it was going crazy over there with rain.

[00:54:46] So, one extreme to another in this changing earth.

[00:54:50] November 8th, there was 413 earthquakes that were 2.0 or bigger, biggest of which was a 6.2 earthquake in the South Pacific Ocean near Chile.

[00:54:58] There was a 4.9 earthquake in Canada in a very weird region, like kind of just north of where Yellowstone is, but up a good deal into almost central Canada.

[00:55:12] Don't usually see earthquakes up there, so that's why it was really interesting to make note of that one.

[00:55:19] There was a 6.2 earthquake in Chile.

[00:55:22] Cuba was hit by Hurricane Rafael, came in as a Cat 3 hurricane.

[00:55:27] And Rafael was supposed to get pushed south, which would be really weird given how far north it was.

[00:55:36] But it looks like it is running into Louisiana a little bit.

[00:55:40] It's still an eyes-on situation even today.

[00:55:45] Spain impacted by more flooding.

[00:55:47] That's when Catalonia was hit.

[00:55:49] Little London in Jamaica was affected by flooding from Rafael as well.

[00:55:54] South Carolina, they were in a little bit of a drought there.

[00:55:58] They got some massive rains, eroding roads, caused like 100 roads to be destroyed.

[00:56:05] I think it was in Orange.

[00:56:07] It was Orange something county.

[00:56:12] What's that?

[00:56:14] Orangeburg.

[00:56:16] I think so.

[00:56:17] I know it definitely has an orange name in it.

[00:56:19] I looked it up because I wanted to see where it was.

[00:56:23] Three wildfires are still burning in New Jersey because of those drought conditions.

[00:56:29] I heard that one New York firefighter did die in one of those wildfires trying to put it out.

[00:56:34] On November 9th of 2024, there was 374 earthquakes that were 2.0 or bigger, biggest of which was a 5.8 in the North Pacific Ocean near Panama.

[00:56:46] There was a 5.0 earthquake in Turkey as well.

[00:56:49] The Kamchatka volcano on the Russian peninsula becoming very dangerous after three pretty good eruptions coming out of it.

[00:56:58] And Mount Luotobi erupts again.

[00:57:03] The no-go zone gets wider.

[00:57:06] That's the one in Indonesia that is having a major eruption right now.

[00:57:11] The mountain fire in Ventura County in California grew to 20,000 acres.

[00:57:18] 200 buildings have been destroyed.

[00:57:19] And 10,000 people have been evacuated because of that fire.

[00:57:24] On the 10th of November, there was 339 earthquakes, that's today, that were 2.0 or bigger, biggest of which was a 6.8 in the Caribbean Sea by Cuba.

[00:57:33] There was 180,000 people out protesting in Spain over that mismanagement of the disaster scenario that's unfolding there.

[00:57:44] Nika is a tropical storm.

[00:57:46] It may become a typhoon.

[00:57:47] It is aimed for the Philippines, so heads up if you're in the Philippines.

[00:57:52] Rafael is impacting Louisiana with some rain.

[00:57:55] Don't know if that's going to come up into the states or if it is going to get pushed down.

[00:57:59] That's an eyes-on situation.

[00:58:02] Largest snowstorm in decades hits Colorado and New Mexico.

[00:58:07] And Las Vegas was hit by record snowfall.

[00:58:13] So, changing earth in full effect.

[00:58:15] This is crazy stuff to be happening in November.

[00:58:18] As far as the volcanoes, we have one volcano showing major eruption.

[00:58:27] That is the Luotobi volcano in Indonesia.

[00:58:31] We have 35 volcanoes showing erupting.

[00:58:36] That is still a very high number.

[00:58:38] Last number that I got from off there was actually almost a month ago.

[00:58:44] It was October 20th.

[00:58:45] We were still at 35, so it's been status quo for a month with this high level of eruption, which is just crazy.

[00:58:53] Only 33 showing minor activity, which is actually down two since our number is in October.

[00:59:00] But we have one up into major eruption level.

[00:59:03] And then that one was added.

[00:59:05] The one that went down was added into unrest because that number went up by 1 to 25.

[00:59:10] So, we have the exact same number as October 20th.

[00:59:14] 94 volcanoes on our planet erupting, which is still really high and just crazy to see and for it to be holding on so long.

[00:59:24] As far as wildfire activity in the United States, we're doing pretty good at this point.

[00:59:29] We only have about 500,000 acres on fire in the United States right now.

[00:59:33] This is coming from five large wildfires or five new wildfires, 14 large fires, and four of those are contained.

[00:59:42] Number one on the list is California because of the mountain fire.

[00:59:46] That is 25,609 acres on fire in California from two fires.

[00:59:52] Oklahoma is number two on the list.

[00:59:54] We had more fires in Oklahoma and in the Panhandle.

[00:59:57] So, they're down to just one fire, but it's still 12,488 acres, and it is not contained.

[01:00:04] Virginia is number three on the list.

[01:00:06] That's an unusual one to see.

[01:00:07] Two fires burning there, 1,550 acres.

[01:00:12] So, not very much by California standards, but California is a huge mass, so I'm sure it's big by Virginia standards.

[01:00:20] And then also West Virginia with two fires, 1,210 acres, two new fires, and none of those are contained.

[01:00:29] So, we got to get our eastern states some rain over there.

[01:00:35] All right, Change of Earth News.

[01:00:36] It felt good to do that again.

[01:00:37] I haven't done that in a while.

[01:00:38] I was actually really curious today about my volcano numbers, and then to see the major eruption, I was like, okay, interesting.

[01:00:48] We're stepping up to a new level.

[01:00:53] And it is great to have –

[01:00:55] It feels good to talk about all these catastrophes.

[01:01:00] Fair.

[01:01:00] I'm just curious.

[01:01:01] I'm so curious because these rain events right now are like –

[01:01:07] I mean, this is historic ground, what's happening in Spain.

[01:01:11] And pretty much what happened in North Carolina was damn near historic levels of, you know, catastrophe.

[01:01:20] So, it's just interesting to see.

[01:01:22] I keep warning about the Fort Peck Dam in Montana.

[01:01:27] You know, if there was this kind of rain event there, oh, goodness gracious, if that dam ever went, it would be bad news.

[01:01:34] So, got to do something about that.

[01:01:40] That damn dam.

[01:01:43] On the dam tour.

[01:01:47] It's so good to have you back, Chan.

[01:01:50] Oh, my goodness.

[01:01:51] I wasn't sure we were going to make it today either.

[01:01:53] I know.

[01:01:54] That's crazy.

[01:01:55] I know.

[01:01:56] I was like, well –

[01:01:57] Absolutely.

[01:01:59] We're just going to fly by the seat of our pants here.

[01:02:01] Make it happen.

[01:02:04] So.

[01:02:06] All righty, guys.

[01:02:07] Well, thanks for sticking around with us.

[01:02:09] We will see you next week.

[01:02:10] Pretty soon we're going to get into season three of the audio drama.

[01:02:17] Go through season three and bring out some of the survival lessons learned along the way.

[01:02:23] There's a whole bunch of good ones packed in there.

[01:02:25] But we're going to have a couple more special shows for you before that happens.

[01:02:30] Just some fun material we have on the docket that we were thinking about doing tonight, but we had to fly by the seat of our pants.

[01:02:37] So.

[01:02:39] Anyway, if you want to get that deal on the books, like I said, I've never sold them this inexpensive before.

[01:02:45] This is the last copies of the original covers.

[01:02:49] Use code HELENE, H-E-L-E-N-E, all capitals, to get that deal.

[01:02:57] And audio drama coming out on Thursday.

[01:03:00] Great stuff happening there.

[01:03:02] So head on over to YouTube.

[01:03:04] Give me a like and subscribe.

[01:03:05] I'm trying to get them back over to Rumble, but it's a little bit more cumbersome process to get them on the Rumble.

[01:03:12] So, yeah, it's just a lot of work.

[01:03:14] And like I said, I'm working on a few other projects right now as well.

[01:03:18] So, you know me.

[01:03:20] I got tons of time.

[01:03:22] Yep.

[01:03:23] Yeah, right.

[01:03:24] All over the place.

[01:03:25] So.

[01:03:27] All righty, guys.

[01:03:30] Thanksgiving's coming up, so don't forget to give thanks for all of the blessings we have and keep making America great.

[01:03:37] And until next time, remember, dream.

[01:03:41] Survive.

[01:03:42] Thrive.

[01:03:42] Thrive.
